"Oh, by the way, I grabbed some grown up treats!" Denki shoved halves of candied apples at Eijirou and Katsuki.
"Yes, thanks man!" Eijirou took a bite, "Now!" He commanded around his mouthful, "Say cheese!"

"Uhg, why're we going on a carousel?" Katsuki shoved the pointy lips of Denki's Hyottoko mask aside as they waited in line
"It's tradition!" Denki pushed his glasses back up on his nose. "And not as straightforward as you think."
"The fuck does that mean?" Katsuki growled, pulling his phone back up.
You guys look great! His mom replied. Love the mask! You certainly have a kitsune attitude.
And what does that mean, hag? He responded, taking another picture from their place in line. Going up soon.
Have fun honey. Dad and I are going on a date, but I'll call you in a couple days, okay?
Gross. He scrunched up his nose, fighting the grin, feeling Eijirou's careful gaze. Have fun.
Katsuki pocketed his phone. "What're you staring at, Ei?"
"Who you texting?" Eyes narrowed, he moved closer.
"The fuck it matter?" Katsuki snapped, gaze jerking up. "Maybe it was my girlfriend." His face went flat.
"Oh, do you have a girlfriend?" Denki chimed in as they moved forward with the line. "I always thought you were single." Katsuki rolled his eyes, sighing heavily. "I mean, I know about the connoisseur thing-"
"Denki." Hanta warned, reading the emotions more clearly.
"Connoisseur?" Eijirou shifted to Katsuki, shoulders loose, hands clenched. "What's that me-"
"But I didn't know you were straig-"
"Denki!" Hanta's leg flipped out quick, toes catching Denki on the calf. "Shut up. That's not something you get to talk about, man."
Denki's mouth froze mid-speech as he looked around, finally feeling the tension. "Oh, oh shit. Dude, I'm sorry. I just go off sometimes. I don't- er, I didn't mean to-"
Katsuki sighed, "Whatever Dunceface." His head fell back, mask bunching his hair along the ribbon. Annoyed he busied himself with adjusting it. "You've earned your nickname that's for sure."
"What did he mean connoisseur?" Eijirou's gaze remained, unblinking, on Katsuki.
"You have a well of secrets, Eijirou." Katsuki glared, "I get to keep a couple."
"Fine."
"God damn." Hanta widened his eyes at Denki, shrugging. "The tension here is so fucking thick you could eat it."
"Maybe they just need to get laid." Denki waggled his eyebrows.
Heat flared through Katsuki, "The fuck you sayin' Dunceface?!"
Eijirou was quiet, turned away looking out into the festival. "You know what guys, maybe we should ditch."
"What?" Hanta leaned over Eijirou, an easy feat for the taller man, gaze following the direction of the subtle nod. "Oh. Yeah. We can always fuck with Katsuki later." A soft hand reached out, landing on Denki's head, "Babe, let's just go."
"Uh? But I was always really good at this." He whined as they ducked out of line.
"I know," Hanta grinned, tucking Denki under his arm, nuzzling into him. "But they're looking for Ei."
