Have you ever listened to my silence in silence?
There are words unsaid
And tears unshed beneath.
Have you ever listened to my heartbeat in peace?
There the pulses throb,
In the midst of a fog
Some might have skipped a beat.
Have you listened to my thoughts in quiet?
Try to understand what was left in a void,
You gave in to your senses
Even as your heart was incomprehensive,
As it would be
It was a token of the love you felt for me.
If only I can make you see
The devastated, broken part left of me,
I guarantee, you will be compelled to believe
Maybe... finally, you will believe me.
