The moon is always near
In our light, our darkness, our fears,
Changing forever everyday
Just as we do,
Sometimes wan and weak
Other times, strong and full of light,
Uncertain its tides and flows
The moon shows us a part of being human,
It understands what it means to be alone. Uncertain
Imperfections cratering our way,
But that doesn't mean we should sway
The loneliness toughens us in ways,
The uncertainty paves the roads
The imperfections imbibe a feeling of constantly,
Giving it your all. Always.
We should like the moon be,
Reveling in the glow
Until our time to shine,
Comes like a full moon and blinds
The world with its brilliance and glory,
Just be yourself--authentic and unique
And you will reach your peak.
