Never before i looked him in the eye
To him I never told a goodbye
But now that he is gone
I search for him among the stars in the sky.

Never cherished what I had
For him, I never felt so sad
But now that is gone
I see who is bad.

Never before i hugged him tight,
Never thought he was right
But now that he is gone
I long for a sight

My eyes were completely dry
For long to forget him did I try
But now that he is gone
There's no shoulder for me to cry.

Why is it we never realize?
The value of life within time?
And when death comes in its path
Curse it for its heinous crime.
