Stand tall, my world.

I see you daily an expression so coy,
But listen when I tell you about joy.
Stand tall to what you have faith in,
And let your face always hold a grin.

One day you'll look back on your inner kid,
And wonder when you ripped off the lid.
When did you leave the dark closet,
And find quite a distinct composite.

You quickly became unrecognized,
And your past self you chastised.
But accept if all as a part of you,
Because your past is your present glue.

Without the glue your temple will tumble,
And your foundation will stumble.
Hold your partners close to you,
And love them everyday anew.
