As I walked to my office and sat Keiayla down went to on the couch plugged up her Ipad and she began watching movies. I walked to the washroom put my blue scrubs on then I slipped on my white coat sat down at my office and began reviewing todays surgery agenda. The phone began to ring.
Me:Doctor Johnson speaking
Destiney: Doctor doctor they need you in critical surgery 3 now.
Me: I'm on my way
As I was packing to leave Frank came walking in
Frank: sorry I'm late
Me: no need Frank I'm needed in critical care 3 so get Keiayla keep her company ok.
And with that I ran out down to the elevator to the critical care area. As soon as I got there they were telling me the information I ran to the back grabbed the medicine to calm her blood pressure and a pain indicator. I rushed to the other doctors and lifted her palms and inserted the medicine into the IV. As I watched the vital signs start going back to normal I looked at the patient chart and I noticed she looked familiar

And then it all hit me who knew my ex-best-friend could be dying and it's up to me to give her the right medication in order to live. Things like this wished I havn't have to do this but it's my carreer and I love what I do. As I watched her heartbeat it kept moving slower and slower.
Jackie: She's losing to much blood we might have to do a transfuaion.
Me: Com'on her blood type is A so go to the back and find an A blood sample.
Dr.Chen: Dr.Johnson we're tying but her left vein in the leg wont stop and her organs are starting to fail
Me: I don't give no hell find this woman some damn blood.
Regardless if we're friends or not she have 2 kids and a husband she never really got to live yet.
Samual: I think it's working her heart is going back to normal
Jackie: yea
Dr.Petes: Dr.Johnson I need an ACD24
Me: In where the arm or leg
Dr:Petes: leg and foot
I ran over to the table filled the syringe with DC4 and AC2 ran back over to Carlah injected it into her foot and leg.
Dr.Chen: stitches or staples
Me: Stitches they heal better than staples
Dr. Petes: Jackie make me a leg cast and bring a neck brace
She brought back everything and we began putting Carlah together.
Dr.Chen: one more stitch and boom she's all done well done team another patient fixed
Everyone clapped and Jackie,Samual,Addy and Erica rolled Carlah out and into the recovery room. I took my gloves off and put my white coat back on and walked to the waiting room. Even though their like family I still had to act professinal.
Me: The family of Carlah Johnson
They all stood up
Tamicka: kennedy whats going on with my sister
Me: well she's alright just a broken foot, leg and and damaged wrist. a few cuts on the forehead and cheeks but she'd e fine.
Devonte: so can we see her
Me: well right now since she fresh outta surgery she's going to need rest so about an hour or 2
Carlah Mom: thanks Kennedy for keeping my baby here thank you thank you
Me: mama it's my job but she will be in pain for a while but I have a couple medications thats going to knock it all out ok
Devonte: alright thanks again Kenn we owe you
Me: it's my job I love helping people out but come back she need rest.
I walked away and headed back to my office I'm exhausted already and I have 4 more patients to see.

Hey guys you havn't heard from me in a long time but don't worry I'm back but yea I'm hurt my sister is in the hospital but she's a fighter so that means she's going to get threw this we all are together. I left the hospital and drove to my house. (Yesss guys I finally got a new house and car and I work at Keeping it Kut. I'm one of the head stylists why cus yall know I keep stuff laid). I drove home and went to my neighbor aka my best friend Melanie house she keep Tai while I'm at work and she have a new born baby I don't known how she do it but she does.
*knock on the door*
Me: Mel hurry up it's kinda cold out here gurlll
Melanie: girl shut the hell up I'm coming I had to put Jay down down for a nap.
She came and opened the door and I went and sat on the couch.
Melanie: soooo what happened is she going to be alright
Me: yeaaa girl she's alright she got a couple of scratches and broke her foot wrist and leg but I prefer her than her to be dead you know
Melanie: yea I do to girl you know she need to be careful
Me: yeaaaa I know but girl guess who was there
Melanie: whooo
Me: girlll Kennedy ass
Melanie: stop it was she looking
Me: hell nah she still got this ass whooping come
Melanie: yasssss
Me: I guess Keon supposed to pick Tai up tonight for the weekend lord I don't want her around my baby but you know thats her siblings mother
Melanie: yeaaa thats truuu I wish Frank would I'd smack her and him
Me: just saying but since imma be free tonight lets go out my mom can watch Jay for you.
Melanie: girl thats find with me
And I stayed and chatted with Melanie till Keon came and got Tai
