I like the feeling of early autumn
cold air
feel it on my skin
I like how each smell is more intense
it lingers
mixed with freezing autumn arrival.
reminds me of you

How you would stand there at 8 pm
waiting for me in front of the school
we would hold hands and you would laugh
it was something about
how i put the wrong finger between your
middle and the ring one
We would argue about it while walking
i remember closing my eyes
breathing in the coldness of autumn
wishing I could hold your hand forever

Reminds me

of us sitting on your balcony.
you brought us pillows and a blanket
we were talking about how do they manage to make a blanket so soft
One leaf fell on my covered knee
the next morning there was at least twenty of them
on your balcony floor

you hated that tree in your garden

i can feel it, so cold
washing my face
touching fingertips
It's like I feel you again

hoping each autumn
it would bring you back to me.
