As the dinner bill was paid for and the night got tiring, Dave and Jade decided to take a walk and then drive home. Dave held Jade's hand as they walked up and down the sidewalk. "I love you Jade.", Dave whispered softly. "I love you too Dave!", Jade said, kissing his cheek. It was getting late. "Jade, we should head home now.", he said. "I agree...", Jade whispered, yawning. As Jade went to cross the street, a car came speeding out of nowhere, forcefully striking Jade and knocking her to the ground. Dave screamed and ran over to Jade. She looked very anxious. "Dave...", she whispered in between breaths," I don't want to die...". "Jade, don't worry. An ambulence is coming. Someone called the police. Its ok", he said, cradling her. He looked down at he, and saw that there was blood everywhere. In her hair, on her face, on her glasses. The ambulence came. As the paramedics were putting Jade on the gernie, Dave started yelling at the guy who hit her. He was hysterical, threatening to kill the man. The paramedics calmed Dave down, and let him ride in the ambulence with Jade. He held her hand the whole way to the hospital.
