'Don't put on too much make-up,' my best friend says. She is laying on my bed, not in the most charming way, and is commenting on my looks.
'I have to look good, don't I?'
'Yeah, sure.' She picks up her phone and I can tell she isn't very interested anymore. I can't blame her; I've been talking nonstop to her about my soulmate from the moment that the numbers showed up.
'Like this?' I ask a little bit unsure and I turn around.
She puts her phone away and looks up, giving her a double chin. 'Beautiful.'
I give her a quick smile. 'I have to go to the toilet again.'
She rolls her eyes. 'Come on, don't be scared. He or she is your soulmate! He or she will like you nevertheless.'
I stare at my reflection in the mirror and fix a few baby hairs before I am content.
'How much time left?' I hear my best friend ask, followed by a yawn.
'Two minutes,' I whisper.
'Come on! Go outside!' she exclaims while pushing me out of my room. 'Have fun!' she yells before closing the door.
