Chapter 28

I'm so sorry for ignoring you guys and this story! I don't know how to express my feelings but I can only say this that I really apreciat your comments and votes even if I don't deserve them as I am not a really good author! I have not even logged in to my account for all this time! I don't know what's wronge with me coz' I have been feeling like doing lots of things but I also want to do nothing at the same time! I don't know if it makes sense but that's what it was like for me for the past month!

Hiba knocked on Zayn's bedroom door but there was no answer. She again knocked and finally heard some shuffling from the other side of the door. The door opened by Zayn with a huge scowl on his face but upon seeing his mother on the other end, he opened the door wider and let Hiba in.

"Zayn bachay nashta kar lo! Is tarah say tmhay uth kr nhi jana chahiye tha! Aj Zeeniya ka pehla din hai hmaray sath! Wo kiya feel kr rahi ho gi or kiya soch rahi ho gi? Khayal krna chahiye tha na tmhay! (Zayn, finish your breakfast, dear! You should not have left like that from breakfast table! Today is Zeeniya's first day in this house, what would she be feeling and thinking! Huh!? You should have thought about the consequences dear!)" Hiba scolded Zayn in a light tone as she was trying to avoid the big elephant from addressing.

"Mama! Ap please mjhay na samjhayain! Rayaan bhai ko samjhayain ja kr! Ap nay suna nhi unho nay Hana k baray main kiya kaha! Me to kisi surat ye sab bardasht nhi karn ga hana k baray main! (Mama! Please don't lecture me! Lecture Rayaan Brother about it! Have you not heard what he said about Hana!? I will not tolerate these types of things about hana! Not even a bit!)" Zayn angrily said and sat on the sofa with a huff. He was extremely pissed at Rayaan and he was even more pissed at his parents because even they did not rejected the proposal right that instantly, that was what Zayn was hoping for.

"Esa bhi kiya keh diya Rayaan nay hana k baray main! Rayaan ek acha larka hai! Nature bhi achi hai, studies bhi or humaray ghar ka beta hai! Or tum to Rayaan ko achi tarah say jantay ho! Sari zindagi sath rahay ho tm dono to phir koi wajah batao jis ki wajah say tm Rayaan ka proposal reject kr rahay ho! Agar koi reason h to batao ta'k hum kuch keh to sakain reject krnay ki wajah! (What was with Rayaan's proposal for hana?! What was wrong in it!? Rayaan is a nice boy! He is a really good natured guy, studies are also good and he is our own child! Then again, we have to marry hana off at some point of life then why not now and why not to someone from our own house as in this way she will stay in this house for the rest of her life! If she will remain in front of our eyes then we will also be very relaxed! And you even know Rayaan very nicely! You guys have lived together from the start of your lives, so tell me at least one reason for which you are rejecting his proposal for your sister! If there is a reason then tell me so that I can reject this proposal with a solid reason!)" Hiba tried to explain all this to Zayn and asked for a bad habit that Rayaan may have as boys know each other the best.

Jab humaray Nabi nay kr li shadi toh hum kon hotay hain! Or Un (SAW) ki shaadi say humain ye sabak milta hai k age difference koi important nhi hai! Is liye please! Agar or koi baat hai toh phir mjhay batao warna is baray main koi or baat nhi ho gi ab! Ab please nashta kr lo or phir tayaar ho jao! Reception hai tmharay bhai ka aj! (Stop with all this age-nonsense! Age is not an issue! Our Beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was so much younger than Hazrat Khadijah! Almost 15 years difference was there between them! When He (PBUH) had married Hazrat Khadijah then who are we to consider age as a factor! And Their (PBUH) marriage gives us the lesson that age is not an issue in marriage! That's why, please! If there is any other reason then tell me, but if not then we are not going to talk about this issue again! Now please have some breakfast and get ready! Today is your brother's reception!)" Hiba said this and went out of his room, leaving Zayn alone.

Zayn was getting angry even more but he remained silent out of respect for his mother.
