The Wedding

The wedding bells boomed with astounding sound, Aiko's hair was tied in a tight bun with her tiara placed on top of her head with her veil. Her wedding dress was made with fine white silk covered in flowers. Sakura pink eyes stared with endless joy into Aiko's.

Only weeks before had Aiko moved into the castle with Sakura. Aiko was really nervous, she hasn't known Sakura super long and had no idea how to act in the royal castle setting. The castle was bigger than anything she had ever been in before.

She remembered the aftermath just moments after leaving her step mothers house, Sakura holding her hand and then walking down the long road of houses and shopping squares to the castle. Every moment felt magical, Sakura's hair flowed with the wind.

The wedding felt even more magical than that day, Sakura's hair was in a long braid decorated with flowers and hair clips that went down to her legs. Her wedding dress had a beautiful lace top with a long silky smooth skirt with a flower veil and a long train. Her dress was tinted the slightest pink.

Royal officials and royal family sat in the front rows and citizens flooded the streets. Cherry blossoms fluttered in the air, the suns rays shining on Aiko's face.

Mamo, Sakura's childhood friend held two rings on a purple velvet pillow in front of Sakura and Aiko. He was tall and slender with short black hair and square glasses. He radiated confidence, as many from noble families did.

The priest said his usual spiel and it came to the point where Aiko would have to say the two words that would change her life forever.

"Sakura, do you take Aiko as your wife to forever protect and love?"

"I do."

Sakura gave Aiko the biggest smile and placed the ring on her finger.

"Aiko, do you take Sakura as your wife to forever love and respect?"

"I do."

Aiko wondered why the word the priest spoke were different to Aiko then to Sakura as she put the ring on Sakura's finger, but the thought quickly disappeared as Sakura pulled Aiko and kissed her.
