Getting a phone call from River late at night wasn't very common. He was usually in bed by nine, but this time he couldn't sleep ever since he had a bad dream about losing you.
"River, why are awake at this time?" you yawned.
"I can't sleep anymore. I had a dream that I lost you, Rebecca. I thought it was real... I was almost close to crying my eyes out." River panicked.
Hearing the tone of his voice made your heart dropped. "River, baby, you're not going to lose me. It was only a bad dream it's not going to happen. I'm always going to be by your side, okay?" you assured, which made River feel much better.
"I know, I know you wouldn't leave me. Im so sorry if I woke you up all because of this dream. Gosh, I'm such crybaby."
"It's okay, River. There's nothing wrong being a crybaby. Now do me a favor, and go back to sleep. I'll see you tomorrow in morning." you laughed softly. "Sweet dreams, love." River smiles to himself.
"Good night, lover boy." you said before you guys hung up at the same time.
