Chapter 55 - Bloody Price

These words made both BaiLuoYin and GuHai choked.

"More than ten times......" GuHai's face changed into different colors, "You are extraordinary to be able to do that."

"That...ahhh hmmmm?" BaiLuoYin protested, "Where did the more than ten times come from? How come I didn't know anything about them?"

Aunt Zhou stared at the BaiHanQi, "You really! Your son didn't even agree to meet, how can you say that it didn't work out?"

BaiLuoYin, "......."

BaiHanQi still insisted on reasoning it out, "If it's not called 'didn't work out', then should I have said 'it worked out'?"

GuHai, "......"

On the way back, GuHai suddenly said to BaiLuoYin, "I think our dad doesn't like me."

"Our dad?" BaiLuoYin subtly smiled, "You sure change your pitch fast."

"I'm not joking with you. I feel that our dad's attitude toward me is different from before. I feel a distance between us." GuHai's tone is somber.

BaiLuoYin's expression tightened. He turned to look at GuHai and realized that the guy really took that to heart.

"It's not that he doesn't like you, just that he doesn't know how to re-accept you."

GuHai rolled down the windows. He lit a cigarette and started to smoke slowly. His expression looked a bit complicated. "I've always felt so ashamed towards him. If it was not for me, you and your dad would not have been separated for so many years."

BaiLuoYin coldly groaned, "If you're going to think like that, then we might as well break up."

Unexpectedly, once this sentence was out, GuHai fiercely twisted BaiLuoYin's left cheeks.

"Next time you say this, I'm going to whip you believe it or not?"

BaiLuoYin is in pain and looked furiously at GuHai. He didn't even have time to retaliate yet before he was pulled into GuHai's tight embrace, "Don't say these absurd words, I can't withstand that fear."

BaiLuoYin took the cigarette butt and started to burn the hairs behind GuHai's neck.

GuHai straightened out BaiLuoYin's hair and softly said, "YinZi, I have to go to Hong Kong."

Once he heard Hong Kong, BaiLuoYin understood that this matter was related to GuYang.

"What's up with him?"

"What do you think?" GuHai chuckled, "He is being held prisoner by your Brigadier General! He has a lot of mess in Hong Kong. Who can help him clean up this mess besides me?"

BaiLuoYin doubtfully said, "Since he could talk to you on the phone, then he should be able to contact other people. With his connections and abilities, it should not be too difficult for him to get out of Brigadier General Zhou's hands, right? Why do you have to go to Hong Kong to help him? Don't you think he's deliberately trying to trick you?"

"He didn't tell me to go. I am willing to go." GuHai radiantly said, "That is better than me substituting for him and having to deal with that old douchebag?"

BaiLuoYin suddenly understood, "Your brother is dangerously deceitful."

"Don't worry, I'm not going to Hong Kong just to help him clean up his mess, I have other business to take care of too."

"Then, you have to be careful," BaiLuoYin pulled on GuHai's collar, "Come back early!"

GuHai clasp BaiLuoYin's face between his hands and forcefully kissed him. Then, they headed to the airport.
