Chapter 17 - A Fierce Battle!

The spy aircraft that intruded the airspace is of an unknown nationality.

After BaiLuoYin flew his fighter aircraft up into the sky, he quickly located the spy aircraft. But the spy aircraft was small, the infrared radiation signal almost microscopic, making it difficult to detect and track. BaiLuoYin can only search with his own eyes. With good acceleration performance, he came close to the target quickly.

Finally, BaiLuoYin found the target and quickly shot a missile, but the enemy immediately released interference bombs to escape his missile attack. BaiLuoYin continued his pursuit as he increased speed and flew all over the western region of China. At first, the enemy used evade tactics, but BaiLuoYin was pursuing hard from behind. The enemy was overwhelmed and also began to retaliate. The two aircrafts launched into a fierce battle in the air.

The spy aircraft had been flying at low-speed, but suddenly, it accelerated and fired a missile. BaiLuoYin quickly avoided it. The spy aircraft instantly made a complete angle change. The overload that BaiLuoYin had been bearing has reached its body limit as his blood rushed down to his body. BaiLuoYin's brain cannot get enough blood supply and it became blurry in front of him.

But there is no fear in his heart, his eyes can see nothing worthwhile.

Suddenly, BaiLuoYin received an airborne alarm. The two aircrafts will soon cross each other. He subconsciously made a risky move and allowed the enemy to fly in front of him. The enemy attempted to attack but ended up in front where it was instantly at a disadvantage.

BaiLuoYin seized the opportunity to fire first. He hit the left wing of the enemy aircraft and it ignited a fire. Immediately after, a second missile fired out. A 'boom' sound is heard and the enemy aircraft exploded. The debris exploded into a ray of smoke right in front of his eyes.

BaiLuoYin was about to return when his aircraft suddenly emerged with irregular shaking.

He tried to troubleshoot the problem but unfortunately the control system malfunctioned, putting the aircraft into an inverted state. At this moment, BaiLuoYin is already upside down. His brain is severely congested. It was difficult for his foot to reach the pedal because of the suspension. Controlling the aircraft was extremely challenging.

Soon, BaiLuoYin felt that the aircraft's body is falling. He could clearly see that the ground below is a swamp.

At the moment that he parachuted, an explosion occurred right in front of his eyes.

He suddenly remembered the car crash from eight years ago. At this moment, the fears that has been buried deep in his heart have finally been shattered.

So..... as it turns out, death is just like this.

Dressed in beautiful costumes, the emcee went to GuHai and whispered, "It's almost time, can we start yet?"

GuHai looked at his watch and then looked at the room full of guests. Everyone is there, except one person.

"Let's wait a bit."

YanYaJing has been by mother Yan's side. Mother Yan looked more nervous than she was as she continuously asked, "Why is it not starting? Why it's not starting?"

YanYaJing was asked to the point of losing her patience so she went to GuHai's side and asked him, "Is someone still not here?"

GuHai's faintly deep eyes swept toward YanYaJing. He quietly spit out three words, "BaiLuoYin."

"Oh......" YanYaJing's expression changed, "Then let's wait a little longer."

All the guests have been seated. Besides the staff and the emcee, only GuHai is still hanging around in the hall. He stood in the doorway with his eyes faintly oozing out anxiety. His chest has been feeling oppressed for no apparent reason.
