32 - This Time It's Really Heartache

BaiLuoYin had only eaten half of the instant noodles when he suddenly heard the car doors slamming outside.

He stretched out his neck to take a look and sees GuHai's face.

He hasn't left yet?

His heart jumped with joy. His first reaction is to quickly hide the half eaten instant noodles in the drawer and pull the blanket over to cover the box of uneaten instant noodles.

Wiping his mouth, his eyes flashed astonishingly.

"You didn't leave yet?"

GuHai smiled, "The flight has been delayed for two hours and since you are so close to the airport, I just want to come by and see you. If I don't see you before I leave, my heart aches."

All of the fatigue and grief that BaiLouYin felt at this point disappeared with GuHai's comforting words.

GuHai hugged BaiLouYin. His heart unwilling to let go. Even though they don't meet that often, they are still connected by a lunch box, which has been considered their companion and show of loving care. This week, they are really going to be separated and can only rely on some cold contact device (their phones) to exchange their feelings.

"My friend opened a restaurant. I've eaten there a few times and the food is not bad. I've already told HuangShun to contact their manager to order your food from there. He will continue to deliver your meals for the week as usual. There won't be any changes from the past."

BaiLuoYin firmly smacked GuHai's back once, "Stop troubling people. It's not like I don't have legs. There are a few canteens in the area, can't I just go there to eat? Besides, the food in our canteen is pretty good."

"The food in the canteen is fine, but I'm just afraid that someone is too lazy to go there. I will have it personally delivered to you so you won't end up eating junk food."

With that said, BaiLuoYin habitually went to sit down on the bed, but he accidentally pulled the blanket up, almost exposing the box of instant noodles.

"That...... how about I fly you over to Shenzhen?"

BaiLuoYin is anxious to leave this crisis-ridden room.

"Fly me to where? Look at how exhausted you look." GuHai agonizingly pinched BaiLouYin's face, "We can just stay here for a while since I have to leave very soon."

"Then, let's not stay here!" BaiLuoYin's eyes twinkled, "How about I drive you to the airport then? That way you won't be late and I can spend more time with you."

GuHai suspiciously observed BaiLuoYin's facial expression. A person with a guilty conscience will often show contradictory actions with their mental state. GuHai certainly is not stupid enough to think that BaiLuoYin could be that excited to leave with him. There must be some hidden intentions.

"Stop moving around. Just let me give you a hug okay?" GuHai forcefully pulled BaiLuoYin down to sit on the bed.

One centimeter, only one more centimeter and GuHai would be sitting on the box of instant noodles!

BaiLuoYin sighed of relief.

His anxiety right now is to the degree of tension no less than the two crickets caught in their sex act. If the crickets saw BaiLouYin's situation right now, they would be shouting to the sky, Major Bai, this day has come!

"You're not going to see me for a week, you don't have anything to say to me?" GuHai's thin lips whispered affectionately into BaiLuoYin's ears.

BaiLuoYin's heart faintly thinks, I want you to leave quickly.
