There's this shadow visiting me every now and then
For some time I see it as my friend
Every time I'm tired and lonely
It'll be there right beside me

"Come with me" that's what it said to me
But I got scared to I didn't agree
The next day all my friends left me
But the shadow was there comforting me

I started loosing appetite
And I started staying up all night
I was always alone in the cold shivering
And it's always there keeping me company

I started hurting myself more
And it's always there knocking at my door
Asking if it can come in to my room
When it comes in, it just hums a tune

Then I finally decided to leave this place
I'm tired of looking at this ugly face
I told the shadow I was ready to go
Then death formed in front of me, and took my soul
