Halloween is long gone,
And thanksgiving is a distant memory.
All I hear now are the caroller's songs,
And I think I know what that means.
There's snow covering my driveway,
Every kid I see seems to be incredibly happy.
It's that time of year again,
Christmas is here! Tell a friend!
I haven't bought any presents for my friends and family,
Running around on Christmas Eve, this is far from merry.
I think my little cousin might like a truck this year,
But every store I go to is sold out,
Oh no, oh dear.
