Loki awoke to the avengers crowding around him, looks of fear and worry on their faces.
"What happened? Did we win? Where's Shadow!?"
Thor approached and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanos is dead, all thanks to Shadow."
"Ya, she like went super sain and grew more wings and tails."
Tony jumped in on that one. Loki looked around still not seeing his pet.
"But where is she?"
Thor looked down and pointed. Loki looked at the ground and let out a pained cry. There, lying in a pool of blood, was his beloved pet.
"She exhausted all her magic to save you. She really did give everything to protect you."
Loki clenched his hands by his side.
"No, she's still breathing, we need to get her back to the tower so she can recover."
Loki picked up the limp girl and began making his way back home.
