alex felt disappointed, to say the least, when he noticed that Jack was in none of his classes.

"maybe I'll find somebody similar?"

the younger boy comforted himself as he tuned out of listening to his 'friends' talk about things he had no success in participating.

the first time jack saw alex was when his friend rian introduced him to the group.

he didn't think too much of him at first probably, just an awkward kid who made way too much sex jokes.

he appreciated it though, in his own way, that at least somebody was as openly dirty minded as he was.

"is that your brother?"

a somehow shorter kid asked as he came to get alex to join in on their stupid freshman shit.

alex grinned at jack before he turned back to the kid, telling him that not only was he his brother, but his grandfather too.

that's when he realized that alex tried wayy too hard to be like mark hoppus.

and for some reason, he ended up liking it.
