My mom texted me and told me come to church with her today, I guess my mom is really changing. I put on my black hoodie dress and champion slides, I texted her and told her I was ready. She sent me an Uber back to her house. When I gotthere my aunt was there and she gave me a tight ass hug. I hugged her back tight cause I haven't seen her since I was 6 cause they live in nyack New York and I live in queens the ride was long it was like a hour or 50 minutes. My aunt Unlocked her car and we got in and went to church.
My grandma and great grandma and grandpas was there, they was happy to see me and my ma.
"Ohh babygirl you have grown into a beautiful girl" my great grandma said

"You look just like your mom" my grandma said

Me and my grandma never had a tight bond but me and my great grandma did, my grandpa prayed for since he the pastor of the church. I needed it to be real. When I left we all went to a buffet place in queens. My brother came and we all talked and laughed. My phone kept going off and it was loyal calling me but I was declining it cause I didn't get this much time with my family and I need to enjoy every moment of it. She called three more times before I asked my ma can I be excused.

"Lay, Dee just got locked up" loyal said out of breath
"Why are you breathing hard and what did he do, do not be playing" I said panicking
"Apparently Quadre bitch ass switched up on him and tried to jack him and he shot quadre" she said with her voice cracking
"I just ran to get dee cause he started running and he told me tell you he love you" she said

"I'm on my way to the police station with my moms" she said
"Cause you know dee was practically raised by my moms before his dad came back" she said
"Yes, I'm with my mom, I'm in queens now" I said wiping my eyes
"Call me when you can talk go enjoy your time baby it's going to be okay you got me and your brother" she said
Before I could finish wiping my eyes my mom came in.
"What's wrong babe" she said
"Mom let's not talk about it" I said
"No let's talk about it, I've been out of your life for a long time and I need to know what's going on" she said
"M-my bestfriend got locked up" I said
She grabbed me and hugged me cause tears started pouring down.
"Listen baby, I'm here for you and with you, if you need me come to me I'm your mother don't be afraid leilani Denise" she said wiping my face

"You always told me don't have sex till I get married but I had sex with my bestfriend last night" I said
"So he's your boyfriend and your bestfriend" she said
"He have a girlfriend well had one and yes something like that" I said
"Well it's okay, let's go back out" she said
I went back out and Jason looked at me and looked at his phone. I sat down and he whisper in my ear.

"Shit crazy, won't you staying with him" he said

"So now you going back to the foster care" he said

We ate and my brother drove me back to dee house, I went it and fell on the bed. I cried and cried while Holding his hoodie. I never expected dee to do this. I didn't want to go to school tomorrow cause motherfuckers will be asking question or looking at you this is New York. Loyal came over and she stayed with me. We watched Netflix and made nachos with hamburger and hot Cheetos and then we went to sleep.
