"You don't understand, you can't just do that dad." I said a little too loud, how could he do that, or think he could?

"Honey don't raise your voice at your father." My mom cut in lightly.

"Yes, listen to your mother and I can do that and I damn will to keep you safe!" he shouted back.

"Keep me safe from what!" I yelled, standing up from the couch, feeling my heart race against my chest.

"From Ryder, you don't know anything about that man now give me your phone." he replied, holding his hand out.

What is it that's so bad, what are they keeping from me. When I see Ryder I certainly plan on questioning him. Because, clearly whatever this is about is pretty serious.

"No why?" I scowled.

"You guys stop with this nonsense, Brian leave her be." My mom finally decided to speak up.

"No Alison I won't." he told her and looked at me, "The phone, now bud." he said more sternly.

I sighed, I couldn't believe he had the audacity to even call me 'bud' right now, "Fine." I whipped my phone out placing it roughly in his hand.

"What's all the yelling about?" Jeremey yawned, coming into the living room, everyone ignored him.

I seen my dad unlock my phone, now I wish I had a code, "What are you doing?" I questioned.

He stood quiet for a couple seconds then gave ms my phone back while I searched to see what he did.

"I deleted Ryder's number you guys will have no contact whatsoever, that means no texting or phone calls, bring me your computer so I can check that too." he said looking dead serious.

My mouth literally dropped open, he can't do this, I don't understand why he's doing this, "Dad-" I began my voice cracking.

"No Octavia, computer." he repeated pointing upstairs to my room.

I looked to my mom for help only to see her with a sincere look. That was it, she wasn't helping, I walked past a very confused Jeremy. But, he seemed to slowly be putting the pieces together. I went upstairs as some tears fell but, I quickly wiped them away. After grabbing my computer I trudged downstairs again.

"Here." I stated, placing it down on the coffee table.

Once my dad checked it for Ryder's email or anything I could contact him through, he gave it back.

"I'm sorry Octavia I'm doing this for your own safety." he stated, giving it back.

"I don't understand, why isn't it safe to be with him?" I asked, wanting to know what was so unsafe about Ryder.

"Just go to sleep, I'll explain everything due time." he replied, and all I could do was look at him.

Just when I thought everything was going to be okay, it wasn't.

I must have fallen asleep because, I heard tapping at my window. When my eyes opened, I seen a figure in the window, Ryder. I got up sleepily and opened my window.

"Hey sleeping beauty." Ryder said once he managed to get inside, I only sleepily smiled.

I walked back to my bed to sit down while he sat next to me, before locking the door though, "Why didn't you answer my texts, I sent you a million." he asked seeming concerned.

"My dad took my phone and deleted your number he says I'm not to talk to you and that includes texting." I informed him of earlier moments, staring at my blanket.

Ryder sighed bringing me into him so we were cuddling, he sat up against the wall as I laid against him, "I'm sorry love, I shouldn't have parked in front of your house." he said with frustration.

I put my hand over his, "It's okay, they weren't even supposed to be home." I declared.

It was silent for a couple minutes before I got to thinking, "What are we going to do, my dad says I'm not supposed to see you."

I didn't want my dad mad at me but, I also at the same time wanted Ryder, "Well.." he began, running his fingers through my brown strands, "We can always meet like this, I happen to find this peaceful." I giggled as he chuckled, "And..." he continued, "We can always meet and you can say I'm one of your friends."

I smiled sighing in content, if I wanted to be with Ryder this has to work because I don't want to let him go, not yet.
