Maybe this story is typical for most people. But for me who was only 10 years old at the time, it was still frightening until now (I'm 28 now).

At that time, I always visited my grandma's house every Obon Festival (a festival to honor the ancestors). At that time, my grandma always reminded me to close the sliding door tightly. And if you want to open the sliding door, open wide.

When I asked my grandma, she said, "If you don't close the door tightly, uninvited guests will gaze from the gap. They will not reach the room where the door is wide open and can't approach the tightly closed room. But, if they manage to find a gap, I will greet them like talking to a real person, it will satisfy them and quickly they will return from wherever they came from, "

Honestly, one time, I forgot to close the sliding door in the living room. When I glanced I saw strands of kimono through the sliding door. It really scared me.

Until now I have never forgotten to always do the habit, even at my own home.
