Stormy seas raged wildly in the darkness as an unknown creature swam quickly, it's tail slicing through the freezing water. The water was gray and it was not a goodnight to be out in the ocean. The creature seemed to spare no though for this as it hurdled through the water.
Suddenly, it launched itself out of the water and onto a rock. The creature stared up at where the moon was hidden behind the clouds. Water mixed with tears and streamed down it's humanoid face. It quickly slipped back into the water, taking shelter in a small alcove where the water wasn't rough against the shore. It drifted in and out of a fitful sleep for the rest of the night.
