"That sounds easy enough," Arnold said.

"Each level gets harder as the barrels come faster and there are more of them, I've managed to get to level 15 but that's about it but that was hard work and a lot of hours on the game, here's a quarter let's see how you do" Will said and handed him a quarter, Arnold was very surprised by this and just about managed to get a thank you out. He put the quarter into the machine. The game started up and he went through the first level tentatively, figuring out the controls but he managed to keep his wits about him enough to dodge the barrels that came down at him. As Will had said the next level the barrels came down slightly faster but as he was a little more used to the controls now, he managed to get passed it with relative ease. He managed to make it to level 2 before being taken out by one of the barrels but it felt longer as there were several stages in each level.

"Not bad for your first go, it's like 5 cents a go so you still have another 4 goes with that quarter I gave you, I'm going to go play Star Wars," Will said with a smile.

"Thanks again man, this is quite fun," Arnold said.

"There are plenty more games for you to try out, you'll stick with that one today but over the summer I will show you the others," Will said with a smile and then left Arnold to it. He went to the Star Wars machine and put the necessary credit in. he also enjoyed playing this game and the last time he had done it he had managed to destroy the Death Star for the first time and he hoped he could do that again. He flew through the first section well as he had done it many times before and Darth Vader was no match for him now and the second stage proved to be equally as simple, dodging the fire from the towers and taking a few of them out. He got into the trench which is the tricky part as getting it into the exhaust port was the tricky part and he didn't manage it on his first run but on his second he got it in and felt elated. He started on his second run-through, it was a lot harder this time around with more shots going his way, and he managed to just about get past the dog fight but one the next section he was shot down. Will was happy though as that's the furthest he had reached and he got a new high score for himself, though he wasn't quite good enough to get on the leader board just yet. He returned to Arnold who was staring intently at the screen now and was doing quite well as he was on level 4 now and getting over the barrels with ease, but then he took one and the death screen came up with insert coin to continue.

"Oh man, that was my best run yet, I'm certainly getting better at it," Arnold said.

"That was pretty good saying that you've only been playing it for twenty minutes or so, a few more goes, and you'll give me a run for my money," Will said.

"Maybe I will, I'll see if I can get my own change as well to do this as I feel quite bad taking from you," Arnold said.

"Forget about it, I do it for all my friends and they are ok with it," Will said "Speaking of which, let's go find the other two." Arnold nodded at this and followed Will to some of the other machines, they found Malcolm and Jason looking at a Dragon Lair machine, Jason was playing, and Malcolm was screaming at him to use the sword, but Jason wasn't quite fast enough and died.

"Bad luck man but Dragon Lair is one of the hardest games in here," Will said which startled the pair as they were so into the game that they didn't notice them arrive.

"That it is but I still the ace at Pacman and you both know it," Jason said.

"That you are, Arnold did ok on Donkey Kong, got to level 4 on his last go" Will said.

"I did a lot better my first go," Malcolm said braggingly.

"You certainly did not and the best you've done at that game is level 8," Jason said with a laugh and Malcolm lightly hit him for that.
