CAUSATIVE Cover: The cover is nice. I don't really understand it because i could not figure if it was used to indicate the pain and suffering of the people or the blind girl. All in all, it looks attractive and gives a vibe that rhymes with the story. Hence I'm awarding the cover a 10%.
Title: I don't understand how the title relates with the book at all because Causative mean a factor or something that caused an event and from what I have gathered, the book is not about what caused the overthrown of the previous government, the book is about what happening to restore the country back to it's old self or what is going to happen in future to the country. Hence I'm awarding 5% to the title.
Plot: I'm awarding the plot a 17% because to start with, the intro was amazing. I loved the prologue and at first i thought it was some kind of show until I realize the author was trying to describe a Coup. The author was also very good at description, Always explaining and describing so we can have a visual memory of what he's saying.
The introduction of his character was also very superb and whom would have thought the blind girl was some kind of action mama. The plot development was gradual and nothing was out of place. In conclusion, It is a very good plot and I sincerely hope the story ends well.
Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation: The grammar and punctuation were perfect. The book looks edited by a professional and the spelling were perfect hence I'm giving it a 19%.
Writing style: The writing style for the book actually goes in line with the story. Writing from Jos point of view was actually perfect because it makes Chido more mysterious, it wouldn't have seemed so if it had been from Chido's Point of view. Hence, I'm giving a 9%.
In conclusion, the book lacked nothing except maybe a more appropriate title and I Enjoyed it.
