"What?" You were confused, staring at Jungkook, who was sitting at the other end of the table, "you're a vampire?"

"Yeah... " he said, scratching the back of his head, "are you scared?" he was visibly nervous, if it weren't for the fact that he'd been alive for over 100 years, he'd probably be freaking out, but with you, he's never met anyone, in his 123 years, like you. If you were to leave him because of this really, REALLY, well-kept secret, his undead heart would literally be ripped out of his chest.

"No, I'm not scared! I feel stupid! I should've known... you barely eat and you never want to take pictures with me!" Your reaction was something Jungkook wasn't expecting, he was worried you'd run away and ask to never see him again, "man, I'm an idiot... how old are you?"

"123." Was his response.

"You're 123 years old and you're dating an idiot? Man, being a vampire must've lowered your standards... you're fucking attractive too! I bet you've run into plenty of SMART, beautiful girls in this lifetime." You were honestly a breath of fresh air compared to the other people he has told.

Truth is, nobody has made his undead heart feel the way you have. The way you smile and just you in general.

"I've always been known... to go for idiots," he said, trying to come up with a way to respond to you, "but you're the greatest idiot I've ever met."

That comment melted your heart.

"Gasp! You know what we should do? We should get a portrait of us painted-" you burst out, excited, finally, after all these years, your boyfriend can see how attractive he is! "I mean, you can't see your reflection or yourself in photos, this would be a great idea!"

"That would be great, (y/n)... but you're one of the most impatient people I've ever met- I mean, I've lived 123 years, I have mastered the art of patience, but have you seen yourself counting down the minutes until your pizza rolls are done?" Jungkook was right, and you were about to agree, but instead, you blurted out something else instead.

"Pfft... old man!" He gasped, you did it! You called him an old man! How can he forgive you? The AUDACITY!

"That's what you are! You're 123 years old. Me? I'm a mere 21, meaning to me, you're an old man in a graciously young, attractive man's body!" Jungkook was shocked, but how could he be mad at you when you were right? He was old.

"I- okay, you win this time, miss." He was whipped, honestly, getting into an argument, even if it's a fake one was the last thing he'd want to do.

You smiles triumphantly, "old man." you began giggling, god, you were a literal child. 21 years old and laughing at calling your boyfriend an old man? but Jungkook was in love, staring at the way your (e/c) eyes twinkled and the light hit your (s/c) skin. You were beautiful.

In retrospect, he's been dating you for a year and has known you for four in total, he should've known you would've reacted this way, but the way his friends nagged at him when he mentioned telling you made him nervous. He didn't want to scare the love of his life away!

Nonetheless, vampire or not, you still loved him the same. He's still Jeon Jungkook, the boy you met sulking, weirdly you have to admit, in the corner of a hot topic, but you knew he was the one.
