•~19: "If We Die, I Blame You."~•

"Any ideas on how we can drive those two away?" Blake asks the group.

Kayden looks behind Blake. "How about helping Jonathan."

They turn around to see Jonathan, looking at two unconcious gaurds. He looks at the three before back at the gaurds and stealing their keys to the room.

Kayden walks over and grabs one of the gaurds, bringing them to the side so they could get in.

Jonathan unlocked the door and opened it. As they walked in, Jonathan, said: "You're welcome." Both Blake and Hailey roll their eyes and Kayden snickers.

"Good luck." Kayden tells Blake and Hailey before closing the door.

"So," Jaylin starts, "You like bread?"

"Stop talking."

"Sure."

"Sure."

They all say at the same time. Daniel and Jimmy glare at each other, them saying the same thing.

"Stop copying me." They both say at the same time, whispering to not draw attention from other guards.

"Seriously stop."

"Stop!"

This turns into an arguement. Leslie rolls her eyes and Jaylin smiles at her success. As they continue to argue in whispers, Jimmy and Daniel were now on the topic of who's most likely to die first. We all know it would be Daniel.

Leslie was not taking it well. "Can you shut up?"

Jimmy smirks. "Yeah, Daniel, shut up."

Daniel was about to say something until he was cut off by Leslie. "Both of you!"

Jimmy rolls his eyes, Daniel hides his smirk, and Jaylin tries not to laugh. Leslie turns back around and continues to walk beside Jaylin.

Jaylin smiles. "You should do that more often."

"Why?" Leslie looks at Jaylin like she went nuts.

"Just to see the look on their faces." She smirks. "And yours." She mumbles. Leslie smacks Jaylin in the back of the head. Jaylin starts laughing.

They then reached a hallway, leading into two different hallways. Leslie and Jaylin looked in the left hallway, while Daniel and Jimmy look in the right.

Leslie turns to the group. "This is where we part. Everyone meet back here when we're done getting everyone out."

"And how are we supposed to do that?" Jimmy asks.

"Once Blake shuts off the dampeners, Daniel will be able to teleport the prisoners back to the base, and we'll go from there." Leslie explains.

"How will you get them out?" Daniel asks

"Jaylin made a device which opens a portal to the coordinates she assigns. Let's just hope she has the right coordinates set." She glares at Jaylin.

Daniel nods and looks at Jimmy. "Alright. Let's go." They start walking down the hallway.

The last thing you heard from Jimmy before he was out of ear shot was: "You cant tell me what to do!"

Jonathan and Kayden wait by the control room door. Kayden continued to fidget with the sleeve of the guard uniform. Jonathan, on the other hand, was very confused. Not of the plan, but of the muffled screams and footsteps approaching them.

Of course, Kayden couldn't hear it because his hearing isn't as advanced as Jonathan's. As the footsteps got closer, Jonathan took out his blade.

Kayden's eyes widened. "What are you doing?" He whispers.

"Shut up." Jonathan looks down the hallway.

Kayden looks down the hallway, not seeing anything. "What are you looking at?"

"I said shut up!" Jonathan says, somewhat louder. Kayden sighs, looking back down the hallway.

Jonathan noticed how loud it was now. He couldn't stand the noise. So he thought of the most brilliant plan. But he couldn't do it with the power dampeners.

And at that moment, the blue lights from the top of the hallway turned off. Jonathan supposed that was the power dampeners turning off because he teleported. Yes, you read right. He teleported towards the noise.

"Jonathan!" Kayden tried not to shout at him.

Kayden sighs. He couldn't leave Blake and Hailey in there without a guard. He didn't want to risk it. Actually, he couldn't risk it.

And that was when havoc broke out. Something was falling from the sky, and falling fast. Kayden didnt have a choice now. It was life or death. Everything around him slowed down. He tried opening the door, but it was jammed.

He had to leave. If he didn't, he'd die, along with all the others in the explosion.

Jonathan teleported to the noise. Like the idiot he is. He was near the control room, he was sure of that. He turned around.

Infront of him he could see a guard, in a different uniform than what Jonathan was wearing. Last he checked, they had the same uniforms as the other guards. So why did this guy have a different uniform?

Instead of a blue uniform, the man wore a grey, almost black, uniform. He has badge's on the left side of his shirt, most of which he couldn't name.

But who had been screaming was Jonathan's main concern. A little boy, most likely 7 or 8 years old, was being held by the arm. The little boy had dirty blonde hair and a blue eye. His other eye was covered by his hair. His tears streamed down his face.

Jonathan got furious. There was something about that little boy that made Jonathan go soft, which has never happened before.

"Let the kid go!" Jonathan said, clenching his sword.

The guard only smiled and held the boy tighter.

Jonathan threw his sword right at the guard, the sword going straight through his heart. Letting go of the kid, the guard fell to the ground.

Jonathan gestures the kid over to him. The kid, still terrified of what happened, runs over to Jonathan and embraces him. Jonathan looks down at him and couldn't help but to smile.

"Jonathan!" Someone said from behind him.

Jonathan and the boy jumped before turning around. The boy hid behind Jonathan, playing with Jonathan's jacket.

"Jesus, dude!" Jonathan shouts, "Give a heads up next time!"

"Not the time to argue Jonathan!" Kayden says with a worried expression.

Jonathan gives Kayden a confused look. "What's going o-." He was cut off by an explosion on the east side of the building.

Where Blake and Hailey had been.
