I kept running. I didn't stop. I couldn't. Not now. I have been running for the last 20 minutes. I look behind me one more time. Kathy was running behind me. I stop running and she does too. I look around. I climb up the mountain quickly and she follows. I catch my breath. I could here them coming. We hide behind one of the rocks. The air was cold. I grab a scarf from my backpack, which was already open, and put it on.

They finally pass by. I sigh in releif. I get up and look around. No one. It was just me and Kathy. I put my hands in my pockets. I could hear more walking. 2 people. 2 boys. Not the FBI though. They were mutants, like me. We hide behind the same rock we did last time. They came closer to me. They were right below me.

"Daniel?" Someone says. Is that Jimmy? I look at Kathy and she shrugs.

We still make no noice, although he was my friend I couldn't let him know we were here. I look over the rock a little. It was Jimmy, with someone else. He was with a dude with blonde hair and blue eyes. I furrow my brows. There is muffled talking between the two that I couldn't make out. Then the blonde closes his eyes. He opens them back up and looks up at me. I quickly hide behind the rock. I think he saw me. Sh--. We jump to the other rocks to the top of the mountain. Dang it's cold here.

"Daniel, Kathy!" Jimmy shouts. "Come down! We aren't working for them I promise."

I had to go down. He's my friend after all, although I sometimes hate him, and he would never work for them. I jump down to him, so does Kathy, and cross my arms.

"Hey blueberry." Jimmy says.

"What do you want?" I ask him, ignoring the nickname.

"I know your on the run and stuff but we were wondering if you two wanted to join us." Jimmy says.

"Join us?" I ask.

"Right. Daniel this is Blake, he's my friend." Jimmy says.

"We were wondering if you guys wanted to join a team of mutants like the X-Men were." Blake says

"How many people are in this team?" Kathy asks.

"7 soon to be 9 if you two join." Blake answers.

"The team consists of sons and daughters of the original X-Men." Jimmy says.

"Who all is in?" I ask.

"Me, I'm the son of Storm. Hannah and Hailey Grey, daughters of Pyro. Laura Howlett, you already know her if you know Jimmy. Kayden Maximoff, son of Quicksilver. Susan. And of course Jimmy." Blake says.

"If you join, there's a possible chance people will see that your not as bad as they think you are and stop hunting you down." Jimmy comments.

"OK fine. I'll join." I give in. "Kathy?" She looks at me and nods.

"Great, come with us." Blake walks towards a jet.

We all get in and fly through a bunch of states. We finally get to one state, that I think was Texas. We land underground. We get out. Dang it's hot here. We enter a mansion of some sort. It wasn't as empty as I thought it would be. There were sisters, or I should say twins which I believe we're Hannah and Hailey. I think the other girl is Susan. And the other boy was Kayden.

"Guys this is Daniel and Kathy. They'll be staying here for now." Jimmy introduces me. Jimmy smirks, knowing what was gonna happen.

Everyone looks at us. Lord help me I think. One girl, I think Hailey, looks at me in concern and then as if something came to mind then looks away. I think she read my mind. OK then. Susan smiles and waves at me. Kayden holds up a peace sign at me. Hannah does the same and Hailey just smiles.

I'm gonna hate it here.
