I watch in wonder as the Beast creates unnatural sounds. Horrible noises begin to emit from its mouth. But still, I stand there in shock and terror. What has he done? Fear has started to take control. In that fearful moment, I choose flight over fight and speed away, hoping against hope that the Beast doesn't catch em, but it does. It holds me between those massive, unnatural paws. This is it. The end of the line, all because my instincts possessed me. Damn instincts.
