Joseph x Caesar- Birthday Surprise

A/N I'm a little late for Joseph's birthday but oh well

Joseph whined as he was surveying the entirety of Air Supplena Island for a sign of any other humans; even taking a risky glance down the tower to no avail. It was his birthday and he couldn't even find the soapy boy he was hoping to see.

He gave up and returned to his room shortly after; contemplating baking himself a cake as he dramatically plopped onto his bed. An envelope jabbed into his shoulder blade as he hurriedly tore it open.

Lisa Lisa had to go somewhere for business, she didn't want to disappoint you so I had to inform you. She left a gift on your dresser-

Joseph glanced up, having searched the entire island and not even noticing a small gift box on his dresser was humiliating; not that he cared.

-after you open it, please meet me where we first met. I'll be waiting.
Caesar.

Considering this was written early in the morning, Caesar must have been waiting for hours if he was even still there. Joseph figured he could open Lisa Lisa's gift later.

He rushed out to a small rowboat, knocking down tables other small furniture out of his way in the process.

Sweaty, Joseph nearly broke the cafe door off as he was met with a grumpy Caesar in the corner. "JoJo! What took you so long? Don't tell me you didn't find the letter you fool." He scoffed as Joseph joined him, downing Caesar's wine as he rambled. "Hey! That was mine... Happy birthday JoJo." Caesar revealed the ruby necklace he had with him when they first met and strung it over his head; his hands resting across his shoulders and loosely laced his hands behind Joseph's neck.

"Next you'll say, here's your birthday kiss." Joseph beamed, Caesar situating himself closer.

"Here's your birthday kiss." His lips tugged up as they met with Joseph's.

Joseph toyed with his pendant as he enveloped Caesar in a hug, curling the boy's blonde locks in his fingers and tugging his headband off. "JoJo!" Joseph chuckles in response, pecking the boy's cheek.
