I heard a distant ringing, though I was unable to locate the sound. The violet colored sky above was spinning uncontrollably. I was dazed and confused. The ringing returned. As I dropped to my knees writhing in pain, my eyes were drifting into a blurried darkness.

As I was about to hit the ground I bolted upright in my bed. It my phone that was ringing. I groggily leant over and retrieved my phone. It was Abby. Great. I answered.

"What is it now? What time is it? Gosh I'm going to kill you," I slurred and yawned. My head hit my pillow again.

"It is nearly 6am. I have recieved news of an illegal operation. I don't have much information, but I have the adress, which I will message you once I end this call. You need to go there and find out as much as you can. You must destroy all the viles of human DNA samples brought in from a graveyard in Sacramento, California. Mason?"

"What? Yea, okay I'm on it." I hung up. I ran my hands through my messy, short brown hair. I pulled myself out of bed and got dressed. I stopped and looked in the mirror. I was standing there only wearing a pair of boxers.

There had been points in this career that were downfalls but usually it wasn't too bad. I had been an assassin for nearly ten years. Abby let me stay with her when my parents were killed in the fire at our home. My older brother had been put in foster care, so we were separated. When I found out where Abby worked I was eight years old, and she started training me for years after. She always said I had talent, which eventually lead me to the top of the league. When I turned sixteen I moved out from Abby's and moved to a little flat in Miami, Florida.

I walked out of my small dark bedroom and was headed for the kitchen. I ate a quick bowl of cereal and walked down three flights of stairs to my car, since the elevator was under repair.

When I arrived at the location I was skeptical, surely I had arrived at the wrong address. It appeared to be a huge abandoned building. I parked my car in the shadows of a massive drooping tree. I could see the outline of the rising sun on the horizon, I had to be done here quickly.

I approached the side of the building, keeping silent and hunched under my black hoodie. I saw a small dingy window covered in mold and cobwebs with a stream of light hitting the ground below. I crept underneath it to a window just past. I tried opening the door praying it would make no noise if unlocked. It opened silently. The inside nearly blew me away.

It was absolutely perfect. The outside did not reflect the interior whatsoever . Everything was perfectly clean and modern, not to mention bright. My black clothing contrasted greatly to the white walls.

I heard approaching footsteps. I bolted to the nearest door. It opened with ease and seemed to be a small broom closet. It sounded like heels clicking on the white tiled floor. I peaked out through a crack. She appeared to be on a blue tooth call.

"I still cannot imagine who could have killed them all. I wonder how big the group of them was," she was silent a moment rearranging a pile of papers waiting for a reply.

"You surely cannot be serious! One person! Anyways, at least we got them here safely. I could not imagine this whole thing to go to waste this far into it." I assumed she was talking about the samples I was here to destroy.

A few minutes later when she hung up and was retreaving something from a cabinet with her back to me I stealthily crept out of my hiding place and pulled out a knife hidden up my sleeve. I grabbed her from behind, covering her mouth. I heard a startled gasp before I drew my knife across her throat leaving a trail of blood behind. I dragged her body into the closet in was hiding in previously.

I quickened my pace towards the door. It was only a matter of time before someone realized she was missing. I quietly exited the room and entered a big white hallway. I crept down a few doorways past the one I came from. I turned a corner, still with no sign of any people.

I saw a wide 2-doored entrance. I peered through the small window in it and was shocked. There were tons of people all in lab coats doing different things. I saw a rack with viles on it. I assumed that was the target.

I prepared my self, checking all my hidden weapon locations. I had two hand guns hidden attached to my chest. I had small knife attached to my ankle, another at my hip of one in my hand. I took a deep breath. I pushed the doors open. The couple closest to me reacted first.

"Harvey, sound the alarm!" I kicked him in the jaw, not only breaking it, but his neck as well. I used my knife on the second man stabbing his chest twice right after he hit the alarm button.

Men started running. The place was in utter chaos. There were security guards running towards me, I had to pull out my guns now. I whipped the knife in my hand at the rack. All the viles fell and shattered, all but one. I took out my guns and started shooting the men who were closing on me. I tried running towards the rack but someone beat me to it.

"Hey!" I shouted. They grabbed the vile and ran. I sprinted after the person, trying to dodge arms reaching for me. I shot a few more men down and finally reached the exit. He had already gotten into a car and was starting it. I could see mine in the dim sunlight underneath the tree, no longer hidden in the darkness.

I grabbed the key I left on top of my car tire and got in. I excelerated quickly, and peeled out of there. I was nearly minutes behind him, but I was determined to catch up. I hit the gas and never looked back.
