Nino's path

"I choose Nino. . ."

Nino gasped in surprise and delight. Obviously he wasn't expecting to beat the guitarist AND the model.

He ran toward me and almost knocked me over with the hug he gave me.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" He whispered in my ear.

When Nino stepped away, I turned to Luka and Adrien.

"I'm sorry," I told them.

Luka shrugged. "You don't have to apologize for your feelings, (Y/n)."

Adrien rubbed his arm and looked up at me. "Are you SURE?" he asked desperately.

I blinked at him, and I felt a huge wave of guilt due to the fact that I wavered on my choice--just a little bit. But I glanced over at Nino's expression, and I smiled.

"I'm really sorry, Adrien."

Adrien hung his head. Then Nino bit his lip.

"Look, I don't want anything to come between our friendship. If you want (Y/n), you can have her."

I stared at him, then socked him on the arm.

"Ow!" He yelped, rubbing his arm. "What was that for?"

I crossed my arms and glared at him. "I chose you because I love you. And now you're just gonna hand me over?"

Nino stared at me in confusion, until a grin of realization hit him.

"Yeah, that's right, you idiot." I grinned. Nino looked slightly offended, but I hugged him.

"Feel better?" I asked. He nodded sheepishly.

"Yeah. Sorry."

Then I awkwardly high-fived Luka and Adrien. "Good vibes! Heh heh." I grinned nervously and the two boys looked concerned for my health.

Adrien's phone suddenly started ringing and he answered it. "Hello? . . .oh, hey, Marinette! What? Um. . .ok then?"

I giggled, knowing Marinette had just stammered.

"Mm hm. Really?" He looked surprised and embarrassed. "Oh. Um, thank you. And of course! See you later, Mari."

He hung up and stared at us. "Marinette just asked me out."

I cupped my cheeks in both hands and squealed. "FINALLY!!!"

Nino grinned. "I knew she would do it."

Adrien blinked. "Wait, how long have you guys known?!"

Luka shifted his guitar. "Try ever since we first saw you two together."

Adrien pulled at his hair in frustration. "I am an idiot."

Nino patted him on the back. "Yeah, you are. But let's not focus on that for too long."

Adrien childishly stuck his tounge out at his best friend, who just rolled his gold eyes with an impish grin.

Without warning, I grabbed his cap off his head and put it on.

He glared at me and snatched it back. "Bad (Y/n)! Bad!"

I just grinned.

Luka looked back and forth between us and smiled a little. "You two do look cute together," he allowed.

Nino gently punched his shoulder. "Good job, dude."

Luka shrugged with a soft smile.

I put on an offended face. "You'd move on from me that easily?!" I gasped.

Adrien and Luka's eyes instantly widened.

"No (Y/n)! It's not like that--!" Adrien yelped.

At the same time, Luka went, "I promise you that's not what we were doing!"

I laughed. "Kidding!"

They both pouted. "Not funny."

Nino, cautious of hurting their feelings, tentatively put his arm around me. They didn't react all that much.

He smiled down at me, and I hugged him.

When I looked back at him, he was blushing.

"You're blushing!" I called him out.

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"No I'm not."

"Yes."

"No."

I kissed his cheek and his pink flush escalated to red.

"NOW you're blushing."

He glared at me. "No fair."

Luka quickly pulled out his phone and took a picture.

"Dude!" Nino yelped.

"Sorry," Luka shrugged. "Juleka wanted a picture."

Nino gave the bluenette a death glare. "Ok, good bye."

He grabbed my hand and led me outside.

I chuckled at him. "Really?"

He crossed his arms and didn't say anything.

On instinct, I kissed his cheek again, and he immediately flared tomato red.

"Blushing," I announced.

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"No I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"No, I'm not!"

"Yes, you are!"

He looked away. "Shut up," he mumbled. "Do you want the whole world to know?"

I widened my eyes and cupped my hands around my mouth. "A HUMAN BEING JUST BLUSHED--"

He pressed his hand over my mouth. "Shush!"

"You licked my hand, didn't you?"
