Chapter 11

"HOW MANY BOYS HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE FIRE WITHIN YOU, BUT NOT BEEN MAN ENOUGH TO HANDLE GETTING A LITTLE BURNT."

Annabelle's POV:
Standing at the top of the stairs watching them get ready for something. Something big I'm guessing. I make sure I'm hidden from their sight, I don't want to get in trouble. Axel didn't want me knowing yesterday, but I want to know, they can't just leave me in the dark. Why don't they want me knowing?

"Okay is everyone ready? We need to get a move on" I hear Axel shout from down stairs.

As they head towards the door, I ran down stairs towards axel. "Where are you going? I want to come." I say panting trying to catch up to him.
He stops and turns around to look at me.
" you're not coming with us, you'll be staying here in your room. Don't come out and disturb anyone. Food will be brought to your room, understood?"

How dare he treat me like a child, I want to know what's going on. Why am I here and what's happening?
"But-

" no buts, go to your room and do what I told you to do. I need to go, I don't have time for this" He says sounding annoyed.
What did I do? Why is he being so mean?

I run up to my room and shut my door loudly. I watch out of my window as they get in their cars. If he doesn't want me to find out what they're doing then it must be something big and important. I mean guess looks like I'll find out what is happening myself.

I run to the garage as fast as I can to make sure I don't lose them. I turn the car as soon I as get in and drive as fast as can trying to catch to them. As soon I as I seem them, I make sure to slow down and breath. I'm actually doing this, this is not me, what the hell was I thinking? I should have stayed in my room and listened to Axel. But I'm already half way through, let's just go with it. I need to find out what are they doing.

As they come to a stop in-front of what seems to be a factory. I make sure I'm out of sight and park the car. A factory huh? What are they doing in a factory? What's so important that they looked so serious doing? Is it drugs? Omg, I should probably turn around and just go back. But I'm already here, let's just get this over with. I open the door and step out.

So I guess that's it I'm doing it, as I start walking towards the factory I noticed what looked like people fighting with knifes and guns. Oh my god, oh my god, what the hell was I thinking? My stupid curiosity got the best of me. I shouldn't have came, they're having a fight, they're killing each other.

" hey, you there" I hear someone shout at me, as I turn around I see them running towards me. I start running to I don't know where, I keep running until I find myself inside what seems to be a small warehouse. I keep walking there's no one here. I go up the stairs after I hear shouting from upstairs, where is this coming from, who's there? What are they doing?
When I reach the roof as I just open the door I see what to Axel and some other older guy pointing guns at each other.
"Oh crap" I whisper shout and and run behind the door but make sure to keep the door opened to hear what they're saying.

"So Axel heard you have a girl, care to share? Bet she's a good one isn't she?" The guy said like he was making fun of Axel

"who, me got a girl? Yeah right. How the fuck would you know?" Axel said calmly

" oh so you deny it, then name Annabella doesn't sound familiar does it? I must be mistaken then."

What? What's my name got to do with this? How does he know who I am?

" how the hell do you know her?" Axel said between his teeth already losing his patience

"Now, now Axel. No need to get all riled up. You see some of your gang members like to share a little to much. So tell me about that annabella girl, who is she to you? A play thing?"

The look on Axels face seemed like he's battling with himself, considering what to say next. What is he going to say? Am I just a play thing to him? Is that why he's been acting really weird since the day I told him that Austin is my brother.

" of course she's just a play thing to me, she will serve a purpose for me and then I'll get rid of her. She's a nobody to me, no one important." The most dreadful thing that I didn't want to hear. How could he say that? I thought he cared, he... he helped and let me stay in his house and...and.

I need to get out of here, I won't be staying to listen to this anymore. I need to go back before they come back. As I leave the door to shut it makes a loud noise and I squeak loudly which must have gotten their attention.

"Oh no" I rub all the way to the main door and run back to the car not caring about the fight that's happening around me, just making sure I get away because I can hear them behind me running after me.
As soon as I'm in the car I start it and drive, I look in the rear view mirror I see Axel running to a stop and looking at me sadly. But I just turn my head back and drive away.

Axel's POV:
I watch drive away never looking back, how could I have been so stupid to not notice she was standing behind the door listening to everything that's I've been saying. I need to be more careful next time. Lost in my thoughts I hear a distance shout of name and as I turn around it's to late for me to act I feel piercing pain in my left shoulder and all hell breaks loose.
