Lexie
~Family Reunion~
"That's your mask? You do realize its a masquerade ball right?" Allen says to me as i fix his tie, I sigh and shake my head.
"We are a gang, I'm just being different"
He nods slowly before I finish, we stare at each other in the mirror and he smiles.
"You look nice," He says to me, I wrap my arm around him and he pulls out his phone, "Say cheese"
I chuckle and he takes the picture.
"Where have you been? Aren't you supposed to come to visit us at least?" He asks referring to the fact that I have been at college these past couple days
"Hows is like living a normal life though?" He asks as we walk down the hallway.
I sigh, psh, normal?
"It's nice, Um, it's not completely normal, It's weird because my roommate is a male," I say to him, he looks at me and scowls lightly,
I and Allen fight a lot but he has always been very protective over me, my whole family is I guess.
We walk down the stairs as a smile forms on my face seeing James.
"JAMES," I say and almost trip down the stairs as I fasten my pace, he chuckles and catches me as I wrap my arms around him tightly.
"There's my favorite" I hear him say and Allen scoffs from behind me, I pull myself back and take off the bandana.
"How was Europe?" I ask him, he smiles and nods "It was beautiful, I and Hannah had a wonderful time"
James just got back from his honeymoon with his newlywed Hannah he met about a year ago, they are perfect together.
"Where is Hannah?" Allen asks him as we stand in the foyer.
"She stayed home, I didn't think she should come to the Ball, she doesn't want much to do with it, and I definitely don't mind keeping her out of this mess"
I hear my moms laughter and a familiar laugh as well, I excuse myself and walk into the family room and see my beautiful mother and Lilly.
I grin and they both look at me, they both looked gorgeous as always, I swear, everyone in my family is beautiful.
"AH LEXIE," Lilly says excitedly, she comes and pulls me into a big hug even though she saw me last week.
I giggle and pull back "You look amazing," I say to her, she places her hand on the side of my face.
"So do you"
I smile and hug my mother as she kisses my cheek.
"Are you wearing bandana tonight?" My mother asks me with furrowed brows I nod looking a little nervous and she shrugs.
"I would have done the same thing, even though your father wouldn't have agreed," She says to me, I smile
My mom told me her first Ball she went to was crazy, and I believe her, my mom had a crazy year when she met my father.
My father comes out with Drake and I stand there, he looks at me and mom and he smiles, a wonderful grin.
"My girls," He says, He hugs me and kisses the top of my head "You look beautiful, just like your mother..." He says and his eyes advert to her and she smiles.
He leans down and kisses her on her lips. I have always wanted something like them, in love, never second-guessing their bond.
"Well let's get going, everyone to their cars," Dad says and I nod, I and Allen are riding together, us and...
