~Roomie~

Today is the day I start college, fun right?

I have already had all my stuffed delivered at my dorm. I thought that trying out the normal life might be a good idea, get my friends out of trouble with gangs and save my self the heartache when Allen becomes a leader.

I am meeting my roommate which is totally random, unfortunately, I did not get the choice to choose, and my mom said no to paying them to let me.

I walk down the hallways with my ID in my hands looking for room number 460

I find it and hold my ID up to the scanner on the door making the light turn green, it open the door walking in on hardwood floors, a small living room sits right in front of me.

It's bare, a couple of boxes with the letter K on it, that must be my roommates.

I see one of the bedroom doors open and I walk into it seeing my stuff on the floor against the wall.

A bed sits in the middle of the floor and I lay my purse and keys on it.

Wow.. so this place is... kinda big?

I walk to the bathroom and open the door revealing a Jack and Jill bathroom. I huff.

I mean it's not that bad.

I walk back into the room that has my stuff in it and decides to put on some music and start unpacking.

I have put away all my clothes and made my bed a bit, I am now laying on my stomach texting Jada about meeting up for lunch.

I hear the door unlock and then shut, loud laughs that sound like male voices erupt.

I stand up and walk out of my room, they all stop laughing and they look at me.

Three guys stand before me, one of them looking strangely familiar.

"Is this the girl you hooked up with?" One says to the tall brunette.

"Uh-"

"Uhhh who are you?" I ask them and they all stare at me.

"I live here," The brunette says.

Realization dawns on me.

"So you are my roommate?" I say, he furrows his brows.

"No? Wait... can girls be paired with a guy?" He asks his friends, one of his friend's nods.

"That gay guy last year claimed it as discrimination for him not to be able to dorm with a girl"

"Then yes, I am," He says with a sarcastic smile.

I don't say anything and just nod my head turning around to go back into my room before my roommate stops me.

"Nice to meet you too roomie," He says with a wink, I stare into his eyes they look kind of gold, maybe an orange looking color?

I nod and shut my door huffing and going back and grabbing my phone seeing that she said she was not going to be able to make it.

I guess I can deal with that problem with that man now, he needs to know what he did was wrong.

I look back at the screenshot of his address and go to my closet. I take a peek at my door before grabbing my shoebox and lifting the letter pulling out the 22 I stole from the cereal box... once again.

I slip it into my purse and grab my car keys walking out of my room.

The guys must have left because my roommate sits at the counter going through papers.
