Lucy x Reader ~movie night!~

(btw this is le first chapter, so bare with me, also im on a laptop so i wont be able to bold or underline anything)

Your p.o.v.

its been two months since i moved in with lucy and her friends. its been really nice. though i cant help but have feelings for one of them.... you probably guessed lucy. shes just so sweet and lovable! shes like a lemon, shes bittersweet, just my type :)

~(this is getting corny ;-;) le time skip~

"hey guys! its friday, ya know what that means?!" lucy hollered as she walked into the living room, sprite in hand. "movie night!!" Emely cheered as she went upstairs,getting stuff like pillows and blankets.

"whos turn is it to pick a movie?" star asked as they went to go get some snacks. "i think its my turn'' Alexa said as she does a slight smirk. "heck nah commie! we aint watching your perverted movie!!" star yelled from the kitchen.

"i think its (y/n)'s turn" lucy says, looking at me. "o-oh, uhm...yeah! i got a perfect movie!"  i say as i get my favorite scary movie. when lucy see's the movie i pick her face turns a bit pale, but i just rub it off.

~time skip to when everythings set up, and the movie is starting~

i sit next to lucy after i finish getting my bowl  of popcorn. she smiled as i took a seat.as soon as the movie sttarted getting more interesting  i see her face go whiter and whiter, it almost seeed as if she were scared. so, as the good friend i am, i squeezed her hand and she looked at me. 

i whispered "hey, you okay? you look a bit pale" she smiles and says "heh- im fine.... i just never..... actually never mind, its stupid" she says as she looks down to her bowl of popcorn, which is almost done. "no its not! you can tell me anything, whether its stupid or not" i give her hand another squeeze. she sighs and looks at me "uhm....well, i never really.....i never really seen a scary movie before......" she looks pretty upset, like she let me down.

i hugged her and say "awww, you should have told me! we can change the  movie if you want..." she looks at me and say "no, i gotta do this" she has her ' im not giving up!' face on, so i leave her be.

~ 30 minutes later~

i jump a little because there was a few jump scares. but i could tell one of them really messed lucy up, because she got up and yelled "NOPE, NOPE, NOPE! IM OUTTA THIS HELL HOLE!!" she yells as she heads upstairs. everyone looks worried. "one of us should check on her..." Emely says, worried look on her face. "yeah- ive never heard her cuss before" Alexa says as she looks at me, she smirks. " i think (y/n) should do it" 

okay okay, so maybe i told alexa about my smol crush on lucy, that was  a bad idea. 

i get up, my face a little red, i walk over to the stairs,but right when im at the end of the couch alexa says " go get her" and winks at me. i feel the blood rush to my cheeks. 

i head upstairs and i hear some sobbing, its coming from lucys room... i started to feel a little bad for picking that scary movie. i open the door and calmly say "lucy...are you okay...?" she looks up at me, then hides her face in the pillow. i walk over to her bed and sit down next to her.

"listen (y/n) im sorry, that movie is pretty scary...especially if its your first.." she takes her face out the pillow and grunts "ugh....you just dont get it,do you?!" i look at her, confused "w-what do you mean?" she looks at me, with an upset look on her face.

"im not upset because the movie is scary!! okay maybe a little bit....but thats not the point!! i wanted to impress you... but i couldnt handle the movie, i have tried so hard to get your attention!! but i failed...im a failure..."

i look at her with a shocked expression on my face "no no! lucy your not a failure--" she cuts me off by yelling "YES I AM! I COULDNT EVEN HANDLE A FRICKING SCARY MOVIE, I HAVE TRIED SO HARD....SO HARD...s-so hard...." " so hard to do what?" i say, she looks at me, her face a bit red. but she finally mumbles "i have tried so hard to get you to like me...b-but i failed...how could you like a failure, a peice of garbage, a loser....like me..." i see her face flooding with tears, i couldnt help it...i had to do something.

(this part gonna get very cheesy, im gagging even trying to write it)

i cup her cheeks and (*gag*) press her lips on to mine (*gaaaaaaaaaaagg*) her lips are so soft and they fit right into mine (omg i think ima bouta throw up) but soon it had to end, so i pulled up apart, just to see her shocked. her face is more red than tords hoodie. "y-y-y-y-you l-like me back?!" she practically screams . "of course you sprite freak" she smiles and hugs me. of course i gotta hug her back. i mean, she is my new girlfriend after all.

bonus

i hear some snickering and turn to the door, only to see alexa. shes holding up her phone and i see a picture of when i kissed lucy. both of our faces turn red and we start throwing pillows at her.
