Chapter 17

"Alright, Be safe." Katsuki told me.

"You too." I tell him.

Katsuki then hangs up. I look down at the phone before putting it up.

"(L/N)." Endeavor walks up to me.

"Oh, Sir." I look over to him.

"A friend of yours?" He asked.

I nodded my head, "He was making sure I was alright."

"I see... (L/N), Do you know why I interned you?" Endeavor starts.

"No Sir, I do not." I answer.

"You remind me of an old friend. His quirk was fairly similar to yours, Yet he passed away." He tells me.

"Oh... I'm sorry about that." I started off.

Endeavor shook his head, "You have amazing potential, (L/N)." He told me.

I look away, "Sir is there anything I need to do to finish my internship?" I ask him.

"Actually, I'm sending you to another pro hero." He tells me.

"Huh?" I looked back to him.

"I have to much to do when it comes to this Hero Killer incident." He explains.

"I cant help you in anyway?" I asked him.

He only shook his head and I let out a sigh.

"Don't worry, It'll help with the control of your new quirk." He tells me.

I was sent back to the Agency to get my things and that's when I was taken to another one.

I walked up to the door and knocked.

The door then opened, revealing one of the sidekicks.

"Um hello, I was sent here by Endeavor." I tell him.

"Oh! That's right, follow me." They tell.

I follow the person inside as someone else shuts the door.

"Sir! (L/N) has arrived." The girl knocks on the door.

I stand there in my school uniform and then the door opens revealing Best Jeanist.

"Come on in." He tells.

Walking behind him I then turn to look around.

"(Y/N)?!" Katsuki yells.

"Oh hey- What's wrong with your hair?" I snort as I look at him.

"Why are you a cat?" He growled back.

"H-hey cut it out!" My ears flatten as he's poking my tail.

"Bakugou, Stop harassing our new intern." Best Jeanist tells him.

"Whatever." He scoffed.

"Woah you got him to listen to you." I laughed a bit.

"Since it's already dark, you'll begin tomorrow. Be ready with your hero costume on." Best Jeanist tells me.

"Yes Sir." I nod my head.

"Bakugou, Go show her where her room is." Best Jeanist then walks away.

Katsuki and I made our way to the room and I then shut the door behind us.

"Want to explain to me why you're a cat?" He asks me.

"Right..." I mumble.

Flashback to shortly after Stain attack.

"Dad, did you ever find anything out about my real parents?" I asked the man over the phone.

"Right, Your mom had a quirk called Cat while your dad's was fire manipulation." He tells me.

"Okay is there any reason that I just now sprouted cat  ears, a tail along with cat like agility and literally everything else?!" I asked.

"When you were little, the doctor's said your cat quirk wouldn't fully come out until you were put into a situation that required such use of it. I suppose saving Midoriya was that situation." He tells me.

I sighed over the phone.

"The actual name of your quirk is Fire Cat."

End of Flashback.

"That explains a lot..." He laid back on the bed.

I nod my head, "Endeavor sent me here so that way I could train the new part of my quirk more." I explained as I then started to unpack my clothes.

Katsuki then got up and hugged me from behind, his head was cradled into the crook of my neck.

"I'm so glad that you're safe..." He mumbled.

I only blew air out of my nose as my tail swayed.
