Helios bows at your feet
Lovers croon their sorrows as you ascend the aether
Songbirds and crickets meet to create an orchestra upon the wake of the aurora
And it's all for you

You,
a descendant of the debris from celestial bodies
who spun off their axis
And into each other's arms

Upon their meet a star fell to the earth,
And from the ichor that flowed in her veins
She tore her skin
And birthed
The hunter and the muse

You're a poet yourself, you know
An aficionado of the ink spilt in your name
The light that casts a shadow over the darkness
The bibliophile carved from the same marble as the nemophilist

And yet, your ancestry is not your definition,
It is your kiss that lights a fire upon man's flesh
It is your voice that ricochets off of man's tongue
It is your ichor that heals man's wounds
You are man
You are Apollo
And I am you
