Letters to Mina - Michaeng Short Story (Completed)

Subject: Minari~~~

Nayeon Unnie then look at me and say "Let's do this, Chaeyoungie"

Jeongyeon Unnie looks at me and smiles as well.

It's always been our thing. 3 of us. I don't know how and why. I am close to my members, I can say that. At least I try to be close to every one of them. But, Nayeon Unnie and Jeongyeon Unnie is always different for me, feels like they could see something inside me when maybe I don't even see it.

I take a deep breath. Let's do this.

We do everything in our power to this concert. All went well, it wasn't perfect but everything went well. And then we performed our last song, Signal. It's near the end already, Thank God.

Then the stadium went dark, it's time to see the VCR project from our fans.

It's beautiful. It's been our 4th times here, for concert and our short holiday. They know us already, they understand us already I can feel that.  Indeed we are all comfortable with Singapore already. They use One in A Million as their VCR background music and some Once sing along in the back, it's beautiful. Then, the background turns into our latest song, Be As One, the mood is somehow sadder. They captured our togetherness and our dream in a beautiful way, how they love us as Twice, it brought me close to tears.

Then Mina Unnie's face appears.

"It wasn't an easy decision, but being a singer was my dream, so I have to try really hard while I can" 

It was her interview for Mnet last year.

That's it, the moment I saw Mina Unnie's face on the screen. I can hide it anymore.

I broke down to tears, not a single one. So many tears. I put my face down.

I wipe my tears using my hand.

Nayeon Unnie then comes to me and hug me, I am crying in her embrace. I couldn't finish watching the VCR.

I try to calm myself down immediately. We have an ending talk after this.

When the lights on, I could see people raising the banner and turn their candy bong on. It gives me chills, literally. Indeed our fans are the best fans. They really support us in anything. 

I could see all the members are bawling her eyes. We can't help it but feeling sad tonight, even Dahyun Unnie who always become my source of strength is crying so badly now. 

We all talk about how we will be back as 9 members. We are making sure that we will. I could feel Once's support and Once's sincerity on this. Once will always be by our side no matter what, It's been our 3rd times doing a concert here in Singapore. As I said, we know this Once already, we know that no matter what, they will always be our Once. I think it's totally okay if we show our emotion a little bit.

It was hard, doing this concert without Mina Unnie was hard, and I try to tell Once like that. With only 8 members, it isn't perfect. We are only perfect with Mina Unnie in us. And it proved today. I got to say, personally, concert-wised, what we did was all over the place. We forgot everything, we forgot to cover up Mina Unnie's dance and Mina Unnie's part, we forgot everything, we can't concentrate, we fucked things up. It wasn't our best performance at all. But I do hope, with our messages, Once will understand. We are very and truly sorry, but knowing that Once will always be on our side, I believe that we don't have to worry about that.

In the future, I promise, we would totally pay back Once's sincere heart with our best performance in Singapore.

It's our first concert without Mina Unnie, and we all know that it's totally fucked up. But, one thing that I really like about this concert, it's about how lovely it is. We show our true emotions and sharing it with Once because only Once will understand this.
