As I was singing, I heard the sound of metal being clashed together. Was it Ephraim? Was he trying to save me? "Tana!? What are you doing here?" I heard Ephraim yell, worried
"I... I was going for a walk with... with (Y/n). And... And we got attacked. (Y/n) didn't help me! She almost let me die!" I heard Tana yell which made me cringe even more
"Ugh, (Y/n). I'm going to talk to her." Ephraim said
"But... But isn't she in Frelia?" Tana asked
"Yeah, I know," Ephraim assured her
"C-Can... Can you execute her?" Tana asked
"Okay. If she let you die, Tana, I will kill her because she let a princess die." Ephraim assured her
"I'm gonna search the rooms," Ephraim said. I heard the clashing of the metal fad a bit but it was still noisy. I heard Ephraim's footsteps near. My vision started to blur out and I dropped dead

Ephraim's P.o.V

"Tana!? What are you doing here?" I  yelled, worried
"I... I was going for a walk with... with (Y/n). And... And we got attacked. (Y/n) didn't help me! She almost let me die!" Tana yelled 
"Ugh, (Y/n). I'm going to talk to her." I groaned
"But... But isn't she in Frelia?" Tana asked
"Yeah, I know," I assured her
"C-Can... Can you execute her?" Tana asked
"Okay. If she let you die, Tana, I will kill her because she let a princess die." I smiled and pat Tana's head. Seth placed Tana on his horse and I was off to search in the rooms. The first room, I saw a chest. I used the key and I got two thousand gold. I gasped and put it in the money bag. The next three rooms were with useless battered weapons. As I was walking to the last room, I heard beautiful singing. I felt my stomach warm. The last room made me cringe when the singing stopped and my stomach dropped cold. I saw (Y/n), head down and blood dripping from her mouth and stomach. My heart started to ache. I ran up to (Y/n) and lifted her chin. She didn't have her eyes opened, they were closed. I took (Y/n)'s hand and checked her pulse. It was still going. I sighed of relief and I realized that I just cared for (Y/n). I jumped back and wiped my hands on my pants. Gross. I looked back at (Y/n). She looked peaceful and... Cute. Wait, what? I don't like (Y/n), right? I heard the clashing of the metal die out and I heard my comrades, Tana and Myrrh cheering. I sighed and picked (Y/n) up bridal style. I walked out of the room and I saw my comrades. They looked back at me. "Ephraim... Why are holding (Y/n) like that?" Tana asked
"Because she almost died and we never knew it." I hissed, tears pricking my eyes
"Who cares if (Y/n) dies." Tana retorted
"Yes, it does! (Y/n) is crucial in our team. Without her, we would've died. You would've died." I pointed at each one of my comrades
"She saved Eirika and you never celebrated about that. She saved everyone. I wanted (Y/n) out of this team because she needed a break." I scowled
"Yeah, yeah, she saved us. She is our servant." Lute waved her hand 
"She is not out servant" I growled. I looked at (Y/n). She was stirring. "Sh, (Y/n). Go back to sleep. You've had enough fighting for one day." I mumbled and I did the one thing I always never wanted to do until now. I kissed her on the forehead. I blushed and gave (Y/n) to Seth.

Timeskip: On the boat 

Your P.o.V

I was currently in bed. But not just in any old bed, I was on a boat! I had bandages around my waist and my broken leg from the incident I had in Fort Rigwald. Ephraim always checked up on me with food and water on him. It was surprising that he always checked up on me every day. I heard the door knock. "Come in," I called and I saw Ephraim with the usual food on him but he didn't look right. He had shadows under his eyes and his smooth hair was all messy. "Ephraim! Sit down. Please let me have the plates." I mumbled as I got up. I got up and I hissed at my bandaged leg. I took the plates from Ephraim and clumsily placed them down on the bedside table. "Ephraim, did you ever get rest?" I asked
"N-No." Ephraim yawned and thank the gods that he brushed his teeth
"You should get some rest, Ephraim. Did you at least get some food and water?" I asked
"No," Ephraim mumbled
"Ephraim!?" I yelled and I picked up the plate full of rice, meat, and vegetables and started to spoon-feed him. "C'mon Ephraim, open your mouth," I mumbled as I put a spoon full with rice and vegetables
"I'm tired." Ephraim sniffed. I groaned. I put the plate down and I used my free hand to open his mouth. Eat up, Ephraim." I mumbled and he obeyed, chewing the food. He finished and he tried to get the water but dropped it. Luckily, I catched it before it hit the ground and no water spilled. "It's okay, Ephraim." I smiled and I put the cup up to his mouth and lifted his chin. He chugged the water down and he started to drool. I used my free hand and wiped the drool off. I kind of found it cute when he drooled. I giggled. "Do you want to sleep in my bedroom? I could leave." I insisted but he shook his head
"Do you want to go to your bedroom? I could take you there." But Ephraim shook his head again. He sat on my bed and laid down, leaving some room. Ephraim patted the free space on my bed and I started to blush
"M-Me? G-Go on the b-bed with you?" I stuttered and Ephraim nodded. I blushed and laid down next to Ephraim. He pulled me up to his chest and started to inhale my hair. I blushed intensely. Ephraim pulled me off his chest and looked at me. He chuckled, "I love when you blush." 
"Y-You do?" I asked stupidly
"Yes. You look cute." Ephraim chuckled. I blushed when Ephraim pecked the tip of my nose. Ephraim chuckled. "I-I love you, you know that." Ephraim smiled and smiled back
"I love you too," I replied. Ephraim smiled and cupped my cheek. "C-Can I k-kiss you?" Ephraim mumbled, blushing. I started to blush too. I nodded and the started to kiss me. After a long time, we separated, a long string of saliva connected our lips together but Ephraim slurped it up and licked his lips. I giggled and pecked him on the lips.
