Chapter 21

"Eww!!!"  I laugh at her expression but give her a kiss on her forehead. 

"I'll be home before you even know it."

"Bye, pancakes!' Hannah shouts as I go out.

"Bye, Buttercup!" 

Those are our nicknames we had since we know it. I don't know how we came to say those but I think it was because I used to make pancakes whenever we were hungry. I don't know who started it though. 

Grabbing my breakfast bag from the counter and kissing mom on the cheek, I hurry towards the main door. I pass dad watching TV and I say bye to him as I walk out. I don't think he said anything in reply and I didn't wait to catch it anyway.

School was normal. I hung out with my friends. We don't get to talk properly until lunch break so during lunch break, we make all gossips spill. 

It's me, Chelsea and Umiko sitting down with our sandwiches and milk packets. 

We talk about every couple that got together or every couple that broke up. It was like our thing, to talk about other peoples relationships. I really don't know why we talk about them. Maybe because it's fun to focus on someone else's life instead of own for even a short while. 

"I heard Veron and Ronica broke up." Chelly said. I was eating my sandwich when she said it. 

The fact that they broke up, took me by surprise that I nearly made me chock on my bite while I was trying to swallow it, hurriedly. 

"What!? Why?" I ask. Veron has been my crush since elementary school. He is hot and so handsome. Ronica has been with him for so long that hearing them broke up is really surprising. 

Even Umiko looks surprised by this. 

"Something about how Veron said some other girls name while they were having sex." Chelly said shaking her head.

I scrunch up my nose in disgust. 

"Damn! That must has been awful." Umiko says. "So did they finish doing it?"

Chelly hits Umiko on the back of the head and said "Of course not. They say that Ronica ran away from that room naked with her clothes balled up in her hands. It seems like she went to some guys house where there was a party going on and hooked up with someone there."

I raise and eyebrow. "She went there naked?" 

Umiko Laughs. "I wouldn't be surprised if the entire party had sex with her if she went there naked." We laugh and Chelly sighs.

"She didn't come naked, you idiots. She must have dressed on the way."

Me and Umiko looked at each other and then at Chelly. "Come?" I ask.

"Oh yea. I was at that party." She just shrugs. 

Chelly is a party animal. Whenever there's a party, she would go there. Even if it's a guy we don't even know about. Out of the 3 of us, she is the only one who has had sex with anyone. She is the gossiper that knows almost anything about anyone. Umiko is less into parties but more in to books. So am I. But once in a while, I go to parties as well. Not to drink or anything, Just to see what all the fuss is abut in a party. 

We get back to class after talking for another while, about a different couple this time. My thoughts are a little bit filled with Veron. If he is single now, maybe I could see if he is interested in me? I wonder whose name he said when he was doing it. I don't wanna say that I want it to be my name because it seems disgusting but I want it to be my name cause that means he likes me.
