— meiying is the younger sister of zhen xiaoxing of project solstice (and has a younger brother too). the two have a close brother-sister relationship and although xing is one to tease and baby others, he's also pretty protective of her but hates admitting it.

— like her older brother, she too started dancing at a young age because of her parents' influence. however when she was in elementary school she joined the school choir just for fun but she soon learned to really love singing.

— meiying is a really big fan of chungha. when she decided to start auditioning, mnh was the only non-chinese agency she auditioned for since she wished to be like her role model- and she thankfully got accepted.

— as for her celebrity crush, she loves zhang yixing or lay from exo.

— she's probably one of the biggest clean freaks you'll ever meet. if your room is messy she'll either nag you until you fix it or clean it up herself.

— it kind of takes a while for her to warm up to others, but when she does you'd realize that she's best friend material. she always listens, teases at times, and will always be there to help.

— meiying can eat instant noodles anytime and she will never get tired of it.

— ever since she started training at mnh, cha jaejin (one of the trainees) has been her closest friend.
