When Lin HanYang started looking for WeiXi, WeiXi had already dug out the gang leader's entire stock of food.

At first, the gang leader was busy nursing his injuries and cowering in the corner, avoiding WeiXi. But after watching him eat with both his cheeks stuffed full like a chipmunk, the fear gradually faded away. For some strange reason, pretty people eating food is always so pleasant to the eyes. Even wearing faded tattered clothes didn't keep a pretty face and a straight figure from radiating beauty. Especially since WeiXi was eating away so seriously. What kind of delicious food could a vagabond who lived under a bridge have? It was nothing more than some cheap bread and biscuits, yet he was savoring every bite like they were delicacies of the land and sea, not letting a single hint of disgust show on his face.

To a gang leader who was often cast as a savage beast by other citizens, this was an extremely curious sight.

He watched and watched, and decided to engage in some small talk: "Hey! You there, what's your name?"

WeiXi held a box of pork floss cake and swept his eyes at him. He might have looked cute eating, but there was nothing cute to be found in that look in his eyes. Gang leader trembled a little under his stare. He doesn't know what he did wrong, but for some reason he felt that the way WeiXi looked at him and the way he looked at pork floss cake were completely different.

The courage he worked so hard to gather was cleanly extinguished. He switched his tone and stuttered: "Big... big brother. My name is Tuan JieYi. I haven't seen you around FengYang before. Umm. Are you new? What should-should I call you?"

WeiXi neatly folded up the empty snack box and placed it in his basket. He shook his sleeves out and said: "I am TaiCang Sect's 62nd leader, WeiXi."

"........" Tuan JieYi laughed awkwardly. "Re...really, so what idoes TaiCang Sect do?"

Now that question got him. WeiXi hesitated. His brain was suddenly filled with WeiDeDao's ramblings. He recalled for quite a while before answering hesitantly: "Banish evil and defend justice."

Tuan JieYi laughed even more awkwardly. He looked at WeiXi's robes and thought no wonder he was dressed so oddly. This guy was trying to pose as a god? He grew up in FengYang city and knew that because FengYang mountain had a really famous holy temple, imposters like this causing trouble were pretty common. He came to understand them pretty well, since they're all one sort of fraud or another.

But based on how WeiXi looks, it seems as though he's had a pretty rough time at it. And it's no wonder. He's so young that it must be hard to really win trust from people. It'd be like if his own strong and healthy self tried to out-beg someone next door who's old and handicapped. When he thought about this, Tuan YiJie once again felt that the distance between them shrank, almost intimate.

"Not bad not bad. You and I are almost in the same line of work, no wonder I felt close to you the moment I laid eyes on you, big bro, and I wanted to say hi."

Except this 'hi' almost cost him half his life. Tuan YiJie's words were shameless yet held no grudge. He grinned and tried to win more favor: "The two of us, we're acquaintances now. Really fated to meet, if you ask me. Big bro, don't worry, from now on my stuff is your stuff. If you ever run into trouble in FengYang city, I definitely won't abandon my duty to you."

He patted his own chest, thinking at least now he won't get beaten up again, right? He looked back up at WeiXi to find him staring at him, frowning.

His eyes scanned him from head to toe, carefully scrutinizing. It felt so sharp when it swept over parts of his body that it almost hurt.

Tuan JieYi suddenly felt scared. He almost wanted to cover his swollen face and shrink back into his corner. But WeiXi at this moment shifted his eyes away and casually said: "Alright then."
