In our world there are a many strange and intriguing creatures, most of which are not human. Ever since the Great Darkening several of these creatures have disappeared, but others have replaced them. As a near collective the rest of the remaining survivors have instead of calling them animals, decided to call them Inhumans because of their unique and fascinating nature.
Although some deem these creatures unholy and unworthy of life I, Slate of the Wastelands have dedicated my life to protecting and learning about these otherworldly creatures. As a supporter and protector of these mystifying beasts I have opened of my home to these beings, caring for them and learning about them more and more every day. Even though most of the passages written in this book will be written by me along the way I may have some of my more sentient Inhumans write short things about themselves as they sometimes like to express themselves. As an introduction this is meant to be short. If you shall find this book, please read it. If I do not show this to you myself I am most likely long gone. If so, don't worry about me, worry about yourself.
