                 ~Melo's POV~

Today was the day that Kaliah went back home and I ain't gon lie and say I wasn't feeling some type of way cause I was

Kaliah: "I'll see y'all again; why y'all looking so sad?"

Mel: "I have a bad feeling and I really don't think you should leave yet"

Kaliah: "I'll be fine mel" she said as she headed to check in

Me and Mel waved bye and left back to our car

I looked over at mel and instantly felt this wave of terror flash over me

Me and Mel's eyes met as we made the same face of confusion

The last time we both felt like that was the day my mom had that stroke and that was notably the worst day of my life.

I shook off the feeling and pulled off

Mel: "I'm hungry" she blurted out

"We got food in the house" I said plainly

Mel pouted and laid her head on the window

I wasn't tryna be a dickhead towards her, I just had a bad feeling and wanted to get inside ASAP

Mel: "you okay?" She asked as she looked at me

"Yeah I just wanna get home"

I could feel mel burning a hole into the side of my face with her eyes

She obviously could tell something was bothering me but she didn't say anything

Once we got home I kicked my shoes off and laid down on the sofa

I was super sleepy so I closed my eyes and dozed off

                 ~Mel's POV~

I sighed as I opened the fridge and scrunched my face up

There was nothing in there that I wanted to eat so I just order a pizza

I know melo felt that wave of terror because he wouldn't have looked at me like he did

Every time we BOTH felt the same emotion horrible emotion it meant something bad was bound to happen

I shook off the feeling and sat on the opposite sofa to wait on my pizza

It had been about an hour or two since we dropped Kaliah off at the airport and I had to admit...I was bored as shit without her

I turned on the tv which was already on the news channel; I was about to turn the channel until I saw the breaking news banner pop up on the screen

My heart sank as the news anchor announced that plane #4602 that departed from Austria back to the US had blew up in mid air

I felt stuck

"Melo" I said as I got up and frantically shook him

Melo: " What Mel?" He groaned

"Kaliah's plane caught fire and it..it..!" I said with tears in my eyes

Melo: "wait what? He said slowly as he sat up and wiped his eyes

"Her plane..it blew up in mid air" I said as tears poured down my face

I felt my legs go weak as melo hopped up and caught me

He seemed way too calm but I knew that was because I was already in shambles and it wouldn't do no good if both of us were a hot mess

"I knew we shouldn't have let her leave!"

Melo: "Mel please stop talking" he said as he looked at me

I could see the tears forming in his eyes

I was still shaken up and extremely panicked but I knew I had to suck it up

"I'm gonna call her" I said as I wiped my eyes

I watched as melo nodded and wiped his eyes

.....no answer so I called 2 more time

....still no answer

I just sat next to melo whi was sitting there emotionless

Both of our hearts were shattered
