Before she could even put a leg outside the house Manik held her hand and stuffed a bread in her mouth so that she stays quite for some moments and made her sit on his lap and said
Manik : Miss late first have your breakfast and then go to work .
Nandini : Manik you arranged all this please Manik you too have it and I am sorry manik I know you want to be with me and trust mee I also want to be with you but the work is just so important that I can't skip it if it would have been in my control I would have turned a blank eye to all of them and would have just stayed with you but I am needed there
Manik placed another bite in her mouth making her looking with wide eyes at him as she was speaking continuously and he just did it very surprisingly . She looked at him and blinked her eyes two three times looking as cute as a new born baby and then started chewing the bite slowly while Manik after pecking both her cheeks and forehead answered chuckling at her antics
Manik : shhhhh how much will you speak go make me proud and I know you have work . I was also out for 6 days for work and now you have work and who told you to be so guilty about it . I know I act immature and a like a love sick baby at times but that doesn't mean that I don't want you to go to work .
Nandini bussed his forehead and then passed him a bite which he ate smiling
With this both feeded each other their breakfast with a lot of talks and pecks whenever possible . This happens when two people are the only family of each other . They are each other's only family and frankly if someone looks at them they will say that they both are enough for each other.
Nandini instructed manik to take care of himself and strictly warned him to not do any kind of work as he has just returned from a hectic concert and then left for work instructing the Butlers of the house to take care of his meals and call her whenever they see him doing any kind of work to which Manik just rolled his eyes and gave Nandini "You are really obsessed with me resting" look which Nandini casually ignored and giving him a good bye hug and kiss she left for her work
After nandini left it was impossible for manik to sleep so he switched on the tv and started watching some movie strictly adhering to her "no work " rule while after about 15 minutes the bell rangand butler informed Manik
Butler : baba your friends are here
Manik face lit up and went to the living room to greet his friends but as soon as he entered the living room the view infront of him just made him laugh as all of them were lying like sacs on the sofa
