They consulted Krum on the matter, and he said he had come to the same conclusion.
He, like Hermione, and unlike Harry, had read Hogwarts: a History, which, somewhat briefly, mentioned the Merpeople.
Harry asked him what he thought the rest of the song meant.
"That we're going to have to get something from them." Krum said.
"...And?" He continued.
"And we have to be able to do just that, I've already got a plan, you?" He answered.
Harry shook his head.
"Actually," Hermione said, "you do."
