1.Unrequited Love

She was perfect like the sun,
He was mysterious and fun.
As their eyes met their fate had begun.
She felt this way for nobody,
And his mind wanted her body.
Lust filled his eyes and she hoped for love.
It was love at first sight
But he just wanted a midnight.

Staring into each other's eyes they passed through the lane,
Their thoughts wandering back while sitting near their window pane,
Wishing they could somehow meet again.

She was an artist, painting her way through life,
Couldn't forget those deep blue eyes.
Falling in love with a stranger completely,
Waiting for their paths to cross ever so uniquely.

Then again;
Paths crossed,
Eyes met.
She recognized him,
He recognized her.
She took a step forward under his stare,
He walked up northwards without any care,
Leaving her in despair.
And everyday they met at that same quarter;
Hoping his attitude towards her would alter.

Just like a bird flying above the oceans,
So high and drunk on her emotions.
Trying to find love in his heart,
Expressing feelings through her art.
Difficult it was to maintain her sanity,
Even though he didn't care about her identity.

She left hope and courage,
Finally it was her time to rage.
It was unrequited love that held so much power,
Making her go crazy by leaving behind a scar.

And who says unrequited love isn't strong?
I believe it's the strongest kind of love that people say is wrong;
It's the only love you don't get to share,
And I think you can't find it elsewhere;
But yourself!
