I laid on my back on my bed staring at the white ceiling. I never noticed how white it was until this moment. How it shined when the sun hit it.

"Babe? You alright?"
I look over at the bedroom door frame and see Cole standing there.
"Yeah...." I paused. "Just thinking, that's all."
"Alright," Cole said walking over and laid down next to me. "You wanna talk about it."
So many thoughts went through my head. Things I couldn't tell my husband.
"Is it about Parker, again," Cole said sitting up, yelling at me. "You need to forget about him. You married me for a reason."
I didn't move. I kept looking at the ceiling.
"Are you serious?" Cole yells more at me.
"I'm sorry. What do you want from me," I yell back tears rolling down my face. "You forced me to marry you. I could be with Parker right now."
"I want you to stop thinking about him and be happy with me," Cole yelled even louder at me. "Fine whatever. Why don't you go back to Parker then." Cole got up and walked out of the bedroom slamming the door behind him. I heard him go outside and start his car and drive off.

I jumped off the bed and grabbed my bags and placed them on the bed. I started to pack my things into the bags when I stopped and sat on the end of the bed.
~What if Parker is happy without me? He has a baby and is with Autumn. It has been five years since he has seen me. He isn't going to want to see me. He never even came to the wedding. What if he doesn't live in Blessings anymore?~ I sit there and thought about the last question for a while. ~I could be driving so far for no reason.~
"Screw it," I say finishing packing my bags. I ran down the hall of my prison of a home, out the door, down the concrete stairs to my car. I start the car and out of the driveway. I drove past the bar where I saw Cole's car and kept going.

It was 7:30 pm and it would take three hours but I didn't care. I crossed the border of New York and New Jersey just an hour of driving. I must have been speeding because it should have taken longer. I never looked back. I was on a mission to my true love.
~Should I call Parker? Would he answer? Does he even have the same number?~
My thoughts were interrupted by a phone call coming through my Bluetooth in my car. It was from Cole. I wasn't sure if I should answer it or not.

"Hello," I say as I hit the answer button.
"Where the hell are you?" Cole yells as he answers.
I had to turn down the volume because I could barely hear myself think with his shouting.
"You told me to go back with Parker. So I'm going home, where I belong," I say back calmly.
"Your home is with me not Parker," Cole says a little calming.
~I know he was drunk. He would come home drunk a lot but he wouldn't hurt me or anything. He just would raise his voice at me. Cole was sweet around me. I knew he loved me but I never loved him.~
"Are you even listening to me, Luna?"
"I got to go. Bye, Cole," I say and hang up.

I decided to call my dad. After I graduated we moved back to New York. Once I moved out, he and Cooper moved back to Blessings. My dad said he missed something about the small town. To find out, he just missed a woman he met there. Her name is Charlotte Queen. She was Cooper's teacher. Cooper still thinks it's a bit weird but he is happy that our dad is happy. She has no kids but she acts like Cooper and I are her kids. I'm not trying to replace my mom but Charlotte is almost as great as my mom.

"Hello sweety," my dad answers my phone call.
"Hey," I say. "Can I stay at your house tonight?"
"Of Course, but isn't going to be late by the time you get here," he asked
"I'm only an hour away."
"What's wrong?" he asked
"Cole and I are getting a divorce," I say.
"You were so happy with him."
"No, I wasn't. You never knew what was going on," I pause. "I'm in love with Parker, not Cole."
"I knew it," he says joyfully.
"I'll be there soon," I say with a little giggle. "Bye, dad."
"See you soon, honey," he says as he hangs up.

I reach my dad's house faster then I thought. It was too late to go talk to Parker now. I don't even have an address.

I get out of my car and grab my bag from the trunk. Cooper comes running out the door and hugs me. Cooper was now 11 almost 12 years old.

"Hey!" I say excited. "Even though you're getting older you still want to give your sister a hug," I laugh.
"Of course," Cooper says as he hugs me tighter.

We walk up to the brick house and go inside. My dad and Charlotte were waiting in the Fourier for us. I hugged them.

"Cooper, you have school tomorrow. It's getting late you need to go to bed," Charlotte tells him.
He hugs me one more time and runs upstairs. It was almost 10:30 and I was tired from the drive so I told them goodnight also.

"Goodnight," I say to them as I walk up the stairs after Cooper.
"Goodnight," they both say behind me.

I headed to my room at the end of the hall past Cooper's room.

"Goodnight," I say as I poked my head through Cooper's doorframe and shut the door. I changed into my PJs and got into bed. I checked my phone and saw five text and two missed calls from Cole. After I talked to my dad I silents my phone just in case Cole called back.
His messages said:
-I love you. Come home-
-Please, I miss you-
-PLEASE-
-How dare u be in love with someone else-
-I should have killed him that day I kidnapped u-

~I can't believe he would say that. He always wanted me to be happy. It shouldn't matter who I love as long as I'm happy.~ I sat my phone on the nightstand and fell asleep.

I woke up by the smell of bacon coming from downstairs. I rolled over and looked at my phone with more messages and missed calls from Cole. I didn't even bother reading the text. I got out of bed and put on a pair of ripped jeans and a blue V cut blouse. I grabbed my phone and headed downstairs and into the kitchen where Charlotte was making breakfast. Cooper was sitting at the kitchen table eating pancakes. Dad must have been at work already. I looked at my phone and the time read, 7: 37am. Cooper didn't start school until 8 am.

"Good morning," I say as I walk over to the table and sat across from Cooper.
"Good morning," Charlotte says as she hands me a plate with pancakes and bacon on it.

I start to eat as I see a sticky note on the table in front of me. I pick it up and it has an address on it.
It read: 556 south Varsity Street Apartment 18.

I look up at Charlotte and she just smiles at me. I drop my fork and run into the Fourier to grab my purse.

"Come on, Cooper. I'll take you to school," I say as I open the front door.

Cooper obeys and grabs his backpack and we head out the door. Charlotte stood at the door still smiling and waved goodbye. Cooper and I ran to the car and got in. I started the car and headed for school.

"So...is there any girl I should know about?" I ask Cooper when we are a little bit down the road.
Cooper rolled his eyes and said, "Kinda."
"Does she know?" I ask
"No, and she won't,"
"Just don't get a love life like mine," I say as we pull into the drop offline.

Cooper got out of the car and waved at a pretty girl in a pink skirt and white top.

"Is that her," I say with a grin.
"Shut up," He said and shut the car door

I drove out of the parking lot and head to Parker's apartment.

~Why doesn't Parker live in a house? He has a four-year-old. His wife is high class she would want a house. I remember those apartments. They won't nice and fancy. They were run down and destroyed. If he lived his dream out of being a sing they would be living in a big house.~

I pull up in front of his apartment and stayed put.

~He isn't going to want to see me. Autumn hates me. She isn't going to let me in. I'm going to ruin everything for them. This is the right thing to do though. The only reason he got back with Autumn was because of me. I choose Cole over him but I didn't. I would have chose Parker. It has always been Parker.~

"You can do this!" I say to the empty car.

I grab my keys and got out of the car. I looked up at the old rundown building trying to catch my breath.

~I am so nervous.~

I walk around my car and head for the door. I breathe in and push open the door. I remembered that each floor had ten apartments. I went to the elevator and hit floor 2. I started to shake from how nervous I was. The doors open and I stepped out. I headed down the hallway to apartment 18. I breathed in and knocked on the door.
