Background: Chaika was left in the woods alone and a beautiful dragon came and found her. She raised and taught her magic. When the day that her dragon was going to teach her some more forbidden moves she died because of Acnologia the king of dragons. Chaika made her escape and found Fairy Tail. There she saw her slightly older brother Natsu. They talked about what they did and Chaika entered the guild.
However when she and everyone else was 5 there was an attack on Fairy Tail Chaika defended everyone else and made sure they were safe but at the cost of her own life.
When the GMG comes she is revived from the dead.
